My take on Tumhari Disha - 13th June '05

Thanks jingle for the update. I felt that something was missing in the episode. Maybe the intensity or the feeling that I knew what was coming (the non meeting of Ds). Whatever.....I proceed with my take....

It was a big shock to see Sum dying. She died waiting for Dish. Poor DK was absolutely shattered. It was not over melo drama but just his facial expressions which did the talking (and thank god for that !!!). Dish was oblivious to all the happenings in the house and though she showed some flashes of intelligence (by not trusting Pori) but she let Inder's explanation rule over her heart and Inder became a full fledged evil character today. I was wondering that last week he was the reason for the Ds to meet and gulabo had even dedicated her avatar to him for 1 day and today he was the sole reason why the Ds cud not meet. Anyways the twisting saga needs to continue and we need an excuse wherein Chhavi can take a real break as well. So here we go on the next roller coaster emotional ride.

Acting wise Sum acted the perfect mother. All her expressions are the oft seen ones. As said earlier DK did not do any melodrama 2day after his mom's death. It was more on a sober low key note and I liked it. It only shows that DK is in control. btw I could not help noticing DK in full white. white suits him. Also when Dish is here explaining how much she loves DK and all to Inder those scenes were intersperced with DK lighting the funeral pyre of his mum. Somehow I thought of two contrasting symbolisms here. One was that the fire that is love in DK's mind will now burn more vigorously. The other thing was that fire is associated with ending of something for eg holika dahan. In that case it can also mean the end of love for the time being. The other thing that crossed my mind was that here am going wild with imagination of symbolism and maybe the makers don't mean a thing.

But I wonder now that there is no emotional anchor in DK's life (the two ppl who can control him are Dish and Sum and both of them are absent now) maybe we can see flashes of old DK emerging. Inder became completely negative today. The way he adjusts his specs looking innocently but then showing the evil look was nice. All of sanya's plans were thwarted today. Am sure we can see Gargi coming back and creating more havoc in Kanka household.

Well with the questions mantle been taken over by the mod/viewbie team it has become one kaam less for me. Today I guess the focus would be on Rano and her reaction to the truth of Inder and Dish ending with the Inder taking Dish to the secluded outhouse. Have a nice time predicting.

Thanks, Swathi! This episode did come as a shock with Sumi dying since none of us predicted this. Poor DK.. he's all alone now! I think he should go after Disha even though he thinks she's married but he can fight for her saying she's still legally his wife (not that she's even married to Ved).. I'd like to see the old DK back in action.. we will need him with Gargi coming back and both Gargi & Ved having control of Kanaka! This should be interesting.. 😳

I can't wait to see this episode esp. him in all white 😉

Swathi thanks for making this an interesting take to read as the episode itself was very depressing indeed. I felt really bad for DK as u say two ppl tha tlove him the mst in the world one died and second one is away from hi life i am not sure if this will make him stronger or weaker just hope that he picks up the pieces and make an empire again like Kanaka. I t wil be good to see Gagri and ved and DK on the other side i think it will be intresting maybe he might even have to leave Seghal house as POA is in the name of Ved and i have a feeling either he will turn negative or will have shades of grey.

I dont even want to go down inder's route good god how evil didn't know he could do this sumi is dying and he doesn't care it i there will be big onfrontation between the two. Gulaboooo still going to dedicate a day to inder on the day he dies or are u going to save us from this torture???

Well Swathi thanks again yes the questions we thought we could post at the end of every ep to make predications and see who come the closest i agree you posted the questions thanks for the idea.

Actually I guess the makeover is actually the return of old DK. With PoA with Ved who will now join hands with Gargi TD might actually end up with DK trying get back his lost riches. Gagi would do everything to poison Ved's mind against Dish and DK. But the question is will they take the story this way or continue to drag waiting of the union of the Ds..

Am sorry Samy..I know I shud not be predicting here but as this is not in relation with ur questions I thot that I can safely pen my views here.

Please the questions are there as so more and more ppl answer and please leave feedback on fo u like the idea on daily basis or don't as we want feedback. if old dk is back rejoice whether or not he reunites with disha is immaterial then

its was horrible what happened in yesterdays episode..i was more hoping that Disha has some sense than to trust inder who had actaully caused trouble before....now Dk and Dish will both hate each other that also for nothing..... 😭

Brilliant job as usual, Swathi!

I think she trusts Inder as she has known him since childhood.It is almost like trusting your own family member.
In Disha's case though he family has always betrayed her, so she should have known better.

old dk -is something which i love to see
