Zarina Wahab files cheating complaint |

Actress Zarina Wahab wife of actor Aditya Pancholi filed a cheating case with the Juhu police station on Tuesday afternoon. In the FIR the actress has claimed she was duped of around Rs 24 lakh by Rakesh Sinha and his wife Malti. Zarina had invested part of her earnings in the Mahalaxmi money saving scheme run by the Sinhas. The Juhu police has arrested his wife Malti while Rakesh and Johnny, his accomplice, are absconding. "There are 8-10 such complaints we have received against Rakesh. We are still investigating the matter and have yet to find the modus operandi in the case," said DCP Zone IX Amitabh Gupta. When Mumbai Mirror contacted Pancholi he said he was saddened about the whole incident. "The person in question is my childhood friend. There are around 600 people who have been cheated and my wife is one of them. If he is guilty, he should be punished". |
