Radha Krishna ji never got married, but their love is eternal. Krishna and Radha were not together, but despite being married to other people, their love was above all for them.
Yug can be compared to that to some extent, but Vrinda's fluctuating love can never get that status.

Radha was elder to Krishna, she was married but her heart lies with Krishna. All the gopikas and Radha were madly in love with them. It was a divine love and it is very well depicted in Raas leela. But one needs to go beyond social bondings to understand their love, they resided in each other's hearts. There is no comparison of Radha's as well as all the Gopikas love for Krishna. Radha is the incarnation of Laxmi and all the gopikas were different rishi-munis, who took birth, because they had expressed their desire in their previous birth to serve Lord Ram. But since Ram had taken one patni-brat, He promised them thta they will be able to get Him when he incarnates as Krishna in the next Yug. Vishnu takes incarnation in every Yug to establish righteousness and hence called Yugandhar. Vrinda is basically Tulsi (who is a part of Laxmi) and the entire Vrindavan got its name as it is filled with Tulsi plants.
Eventually, Krishna went back to Mathura to kill Kans and stayed there. This entire life revolved around activities in Mathura, then Dwarka and eventually HE made sure Dharma was extablished through Pandavs in Mahabharat. Thus they never really got married, but if there is a definition of love it is theirs.

omshanti i agree with you n thanks for the great info-- radha and krishna their love was eternal so no way this story is like radha and krishna it use to be when vrinda also loved YUG!!!! but u know she doesnt love yug anymore because she herself has feelings for RB now andddd they had the opportunity to be together so if teir love was in anyway strong or eternal she would have taken that chance. But vrinda come on man...she went ahead n told YUg that no one can love her more than RB so if yug was her krishna she wouldnt have said that....alsoooo she her self asked yug to get married n move on soo how is their love eternal or even close to like radh/krishna.

Radha got married and so did Krishna but not to each other, Krishna told Radha to get married and he Krishna got married to Rukmani.
I don't know whether Radha ever expected her Husband or not but Radha-Krishna came to earth to teach the world about love.
