RAJ grabs Vrinda and tells her that she doesn't need to be ashamed, as she's not the one at fault. He pauses as he realises that he is holding her arm and quickly let's go before turning away. He promises that he'll make himself look so bad in front of the family that they'll immediately hand her over to Yug. He asks Vrinda not to cry and leaves.
Pooja is brought to the mandap and when the time of the kanyadaan comes, Kushal asks Vrinda's parents to do it as he had done the Knayadaan at Vrinda's wedding. Raj remembers his own wedding to Vrinda and looks sad. Meanwhile Vrinda is looking at Yug and Bharti notices the exchange whilst Teji is following Freida.

Later, Kushal takes Raj to his room and Radhika brings out the jewellery. Raj feels bad that he has to upset them again but asks to see Pooja's husbands jewellery as well as there shouldn't be a difference. Radhika brings out the other jewellery and Raj notices that it's the same. Kushal tells him that he has never differed between Vrinda and Pooja and won't differ between his son-in-laws either.
He apologises for not giving it earlier but had forgotten it in all the wedding chaos. He asks that if he needs anything then he should come straight to him and not ask Vrinda as he can't bear to see tears in her eyes. Vrinda's dad storms in and is furious that Kushal took a loan out to pay for the jewellery as Raj had put pressure on him. He warns Raj that the only reason he is keeping quiet is because there is a wedding in the house.
Raj rudely asks what he would have done. Kushal tries to calm Vrinda's dad down who says that he can't believe they handed Vrinda over to such a woman and wonders how he must treat Vrinda at home. Raj retorts that they should have found someone else for their daughter and storms of.
Outside he mulls over his conversation with Vrinda's dad and feels upset. His conscience asks him why he is destroying his image in front of the family, even as he knows that when Vrinda leaves he will cry profusely. His conscience tells him that there is still time and not to push Vrinda away but Raj refuses and tells his conscience to leave. Bhai comes and tells him to come down for dinner.
Parminder's room'
Parminder scolds Vrinda's dad for yelling at Raj saying that they already have so many problems and tells him that despite being married for two months they don't live like husband and wife. Vrinda's dad is shocked and Parminder tells him that she had stayed quiet because of the wedding but if his anger causes any more rifts between Vrinda and Raj's marriage then she will never forgive him.
