Now for my rant🤓 I couldn't do it last night because I stayed up late to watch the episode (all excited because I thought Yug would successfully beat everyone up😕) and so I never got to comment as much as I would have liked. So, here goes:
Firstly, I don't understand RB. He tells the driver that he can't stand by and watch while someone is getting beat up. Yet, that is exactly what he does! Throwing stones at the abusers while standing behind a tree is not exactly what I would call helping out. He is such a coward! I understand that not everyone is the "fighting" type but if you see someone else's life in danger and you've made the decision to help...kick your sympathetic nervous system in gear and ACTUALLY DO SO!!!😡
Secondly, I was quite surprised when the show revealed Yug's aunt/uncles true intentions in front of him. I felt so sorry for him at that moment. He offered to give them everything yet they still killed him. I wonder if he thought about Vrinda at that moment? (it would have been a great scene if they had some flashbacks of their time together while he was being tormented...not that I wanted that but still...they really downplayed the scene...it wasn't a very good action scene). The whole scene kind of came out fake. Also, like another person mentioned somewhere on this forum...if they were planning to kill YUG at least do it with more dramatic flare. Even when Prem died in KDMHMD, they made it into a long drawn out thing where he thought about Heer and his family. Here, its just like he gets hit or stabbed (Even I didn't understand what that guy was doing with the knife...I don't think even he knew how to use it...I think he just wanted to make sure that the fake blood on Kunal actually showed up on his white t-shirt😕...it was a very weird hit). For such a central character, this death was not appropriate. Maybe that suggests this is not the end for him? Maybe this is all just a ruse?
Thirdly, if Yug was meant to die...why the heck did they introduce BHARTI? There is no reason for her to be in this show...unless, we will see her departure from the show very soon as well. Maybe we should ask that cousin of hers who comes on here...maybe she can give us some hints??? Otherwise, I see it as a waste. They introduce this character to play the new love interest of Kunal and he dies. OKAY...weird!
Fourthly, when they showed that "wave scene" between RB&Vrinda...it was done in slow motion. Do you know what I thought? I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO DIE! I thought this was their final good-bye or something...just the way they shot that scene. I guess I was very wrong about that👎🏼....he should have died...it would have been far more dramatic.
Fifthly, what really hurt me the most was the fact that only VA and his mother were crying in the precap. Shouldn't Yug's aunt and uncles "pretend" to cry so that everything thinks they loved him? And what about Neel? This was his cousin...they were friends too...yet, we don't see him rushing towards Yug's body? Vrinda's family is hopeless so nothing to expect there. BUT, even DB seeemed more annoyed by the disturbance to their auction at the Mandir rather than sad over Yug's death. That actor who plays DB is horrible...he can never get the correct expressions. The only person who seemed believable was VA. Now, he will suffer emotionally...wonder if the guilt of separating Yug from Vrinda has hit home yet for him?😡
Sorry for the long rant guys but this is just a couple of things I observed that I wanted to share with you all.
It is a very depressing time for us...Yug is gone. Even if we pretend for a minute that this is just all a trick to reveal the truth about his evil aunt and uncles, it begs one question: If Ekta takes out those evil characters from the story, what is she left with? The conflict between the villages would be solved and only the YUG-VRINDA-RB problem would remain. We all know that Ekta never makes things this simple. She always has to have her evil characters. Therefore, I don't see the truth coming out so soon. Yet, that also begs the question, if Yug dies who will find out about his aunt/uncles evil intentions? He is the only one right now who knows the truth about them. So, maybe the creatives r planning a "back from the dead" scenario...what they don't realize is that even if they do that...they would have already lost major viewers.
I also want to say as I conclude here that what Shab said earlier in a post is very true: we have been signing petitions and sending emails for yuvi to unite for over 6 weeks, yet that has not made any difference to the creative team. Prem from KDMHMD was brought back by the fans. But if the creatives of this show don't understand our sentiments about yuvi being together, why would they understand how badly we want kunal to stay in this show? They will do what they want...not what the audience wants.
In terms of there being no advertisement about Kunal leaving the show...as others have stated....this is not something new. Our show has always gotten little coverage by the media. Everyone has simply side-lined it, when it was the best thing on t.v. compared to other EKTA shows (only my opinion here). So, don't be shocked by the lack of news.
What a sad, sad day...Wallow in self-pity today, guys.
Then, wait for tomorrow to be crushed all over again😭
