Saudagar VS TSPL

WEll this is a stupid topic , but i just wanna 2 share my view wd u all

Yesterday Saudagar came on my TV so i watched it, coz since when TSPL start all are saying it stroy is Saudagar,

but u all know it so different from TSPL only the concept is same (abt friendship trun into enmity)

& i personally think saudagar stroy was far better than TSPL

Similarity BTW TSPL & Saudagar :

Dilip kumar name was DadaBeer

Anupam Kher name Was GK

Concept was same

SAUDAGAR:

It was stroy of 2 best friends Raj kumar & Dilip Kumar

Raj Kumar was Rich & was Manish grand father,

whereas Dilip kumar was poor & was hero's grandfather

Manisha came from Delhi & hero was in india. stroy was same Manisha dad or some one kill hero's dad coz Manisha bua kill herself

What I like:

in this was the friendship btw dilip & raj it was soooooooooooooooooooo good, i mean though dey were enemy but der still love eachother & never say bad 2 eachother even listen any bad thing from other.

When Manisha & hero fall in love wd eachother dey make a plan 2 once again make dey dadu friend
so dey decide 2 get exchange i mean Manisha going & living wd hero's family (Dilip Kumar family)

& hero living wd Manisha family & Dadu(Raj Kumar)

& will do some incident infront of eachother dadu so dey get remind of eachother(Raj & Dilip)

suppose if any problem come hero said 2 her 2 leave a balloon on the sky he will get 2 know dey is trouble wd Manisha & Viceversa

& u know when Raj got 2 know that hero is Dilip kumar grandson he behave nice wd him(not like what Fool DB did wd Yug) & ask kindly to him why he came here, same was wd Manisha when Diip kumar got 2 know the truth he was nice wd her

The stroy was good i like it special Raj & Dilip friendship was awesome, & the way dey once again become friend was mindblowing it was soo nice

but i feel bad when in the end bothe die

Wheras in TSPL

ekta only show friendship of vicky & DB trun into enmity & dey grand children will once again make them friend only

other thing she did took it from Saudagar

like she can take the idea that YuVi getting 2 eachother house

or atleast she shd have show the strong bond of friendship btw vicky & DB (the way Raj & Dilip frieship was shown in saudagar)

or even the balloon thing also is nice

but she get want 2 ruin this serial

i know i'm saying stupid thing

but seriously i like Saudagar than TSPL

in TSPL i only like Yug & YuVi scene only

if suppose Ekta have taken more from saudagar i 'm sure even TSPL TRP would be good

Even Manisha in saudagar help the hero, where as in TSPL vrinda madam is just sitting & crying not helping Yug+ Anupam Kher help manisha & hero so much whereas in TSPL Gk is not helping YuVi .

ya i had watched saudagar about 100 times!!!!!!!!!
i just love that film alot!!!!!!!
hope varinda also helps yug in the same manner as manisha did in the film!!

I actaully haven't watched Saudagar but I will when I have time and most of the time when something is based off something else it's hard for it to be better.

guys this movie is also similar it stared farden khan the film kuch tum kahi kuch hum kahein it reminds me of that

It would be really cool if Vrinda goes over to Yug's house now...I know the idea is far-fetched...but I was always kind of hoping they would make a remake of Saudgar...that was an amazing movie.

Like you, I also greatly appreciated seeing the friendship portrayed in the movie between dilip kumar and Raaj Kumar.

btw, Manish K. had an evil uncle in the movie. The whole enimity in the movie started because Raaj Kumar's sister was in love with Dilip Kumar and they were engaged to get married. But one day, Dilip Kumar goes to a wedding in a neighboring village. At that wedding, the bride's family is forced to give a greater dowry which they can't afford....so he marries the girl. Hearing about this, Raaj Kumar's sister takes poison. Thus, the friendship falls apart.
To further complicate the situation, the evil uncle kills the eldest son of dilip kumar who was going to expose him to raaj Kumar for exploting his property. Hearing of this death, Raaj Kumar returns to express his saddness over Dilip Kumar's eldest son's death (ie. he was the hero's dad), despite being enemies. But, the evil uncle gets Raaj Kumar convicted of someone's murder. In the end, Dilip Kumar believes that Raaj Kumar had something to do with his son's death, while Raaj Kumar believes that his old friend falsely got him convicted of a murder he did not commit.

I kind of felt like the "big secret" in TSPLS wasn't that big....they should've done it like the movie😕

i agree danharryiel , saudagar was hving better story than TSPL and also if same story was taken in TSPL, it wud b better show and there wudnt b any TRP problem.

@ Neetu, u r rite, i was very disappointed when Yug's fathers truth revealed in TSPL, i was expecting something similar to saudagar and it wud b far better if something like tht happened to TSPL also.
since such a long time i was expecting vrinda to go to VA's family but it never happened and now i completely lost any hope of tht happens in future.
