Yug and Vrinda enter the cell and Yug tells Kuldeep that they're reporters from a newspaper and want to write a story on him. Yug asks what happened that Kuldeep had to spend 20 years in jail and stayed away from his wife and daughter. Kuldeep gets up and buts the baby clothes on the cot and asks why they're interested. Vrinda picks up the clothes and asks if they belong to his daughter and he said that his daughter was very small when he saw her and no one knew that he would have to go to jail. Yug asks what had happened 20 years ago and Kuldeep refuses to answer. Vrinda has tears in her eyes and Kuldeep asks her why she's crying. He says that he's been crying the cell for 20 years and that no one else but him can cry there. Vrinda leaves from there and Yug apologizes to Kuldeep before leaving.
Yug goes to Vrinda and Vrinda cries and says that she couldn't say anything to her father. She tells Yug how during her childhood she would dream about her father being there with her and now that she met him, she couldn't say that she's his daughter. Yug consoles Vrinda saying that it wasn't Vrinda's turn to say anything but God's. God told Vrinda that her father's alive and that today she got to meet him and that tomorrow she can even talk to him. Yug assures Vrinda that whatever she wants will happen and that soon her father will know who she is and will be with her. They leave the police station because it'll take them time to go back home.
Chachu and Radhika enter Dadabeer and Bebe's room and Chachu tells Dadabeer that he's found a boy for Vrinda. Bebe refuses saying she found one and doesn't trust his choice. Chachu and Bebe start arguing on whose choice is better and when Dadabeer says that they'll look at both the choices, both Bebe and Chachu blurt out no and that they've chosen Yug for Vrinda. Dadabeer tells Bebe that chachu is just like Bebe because he has the same choice as her and he likes to argue without listening to everything, just like Bebe. Radhika asks Dadabeer who will talk to Parminder about it and Dadabeer tells her not to worry and that he'll talk to her.
Vrinda and Yug are walking and Vrinda has flashes of her meeting with Kuldeep. Yug sees a vendor selling chai and tells Vrinda to drink some. He then pulls out a handkerchief and gives it to Vrinda to wipe her tears. After wiping her tears, she gives it back to him and stands up and feels cold. Yug pulls out his sweater from his bag and puts it over her. Vrinda starts walking while Yug looks at her.
Bebe is worried that Parminder might say no to the proposal and tells Dadabeer to ask Parminder. Dadabeer gives in and tells bebe that he'll go and ask her.
Yug and Vrinda arrive home and Yug tells Vrinda to go to sleep and not to think too much. Vrinda's about to leave but turns around and thanks Yug for everything he's done and gives him his jacket back.
Parminder is looking at Kuldeep's picture when Dadabeer comes to her room. When she turns, he sees the sindoor in her hair and Parminder tells him that she broke the promise she made 20 years ago and went to meet Kuldeep. Dadabeer's shocked and Parminder continues to say that she tried hard not to break the promise but couldn't help it and says how even though she's married, she lived like a widow. Parminder says she doesn't care about the world but is scared of Dadabeer getting mad at her. Dadabeer says he's not mad at her but at himself for not telling her to break the promise and tells her how him and Bebe had tried to meet Kuldeep as well. He starts talking about how Kuldeep's paying the price for something that happened 20 years ago.
