Everyone's talking to each other while waiting for the moon when Teji comes yelling saying that the moon is up. Dadabeer questions saying that the moon looks too big and Radhika also says that it came out early. Teji says that it probably came early because this time men are fasting. Bebe notices the moon flashing and Teji makes up a lame excuse saying that the stars aren't out so the moon is twinkling in the sky. The moon disappears and kids come and tell Teji that the bulb they used for the fake moon fused. Teji runs away before he gets in trouble. The droop tara (?) comes out and bebe tells the single girls to do pooja.
Vrinda's in her room looking out the window at the star. Yug comes and brings food for her but she says she doesn't want to eat it and will eat with everyone else. Yug puts the plate on the bed and turns to leave but then sees Vrinda looking at the star and praying. She sees Yug and tells him to leave but he tells her to look at the star. He says something that I didn't quite catch and then he tells Vrinda that he wants a girl who's as pretty as Vrinda, stands out in a crowd and continues saying that until Vrinda turns around and tells him that she doesn't want him talking like that to her but Yug says he was talking to the star and meant he wants a girl just like the star.
Vrinda turns to leave and sees Teji standing at the door. He starts coming closer with his gun pointed at Yug and Vrinda, who both get scared but Teji just throws the gun on the bed and takes the plate full of food. Yug and Vrinda both start laughing but then Vrinda stops and looks at Yug. After Yug leaves Vrinda starts smiling again.
Teji goes downstairs with the plate of food but then chachu comes and takes it and tells Teji he'll leave some for Teji. When chachu turns around, he sees Radhika standing there and starts pretending that Teji was the one who was going to eat and starts scolding him. Radhika gets mad at both of them and takes the plate.
Outside Teji follows Radhika and asks for food but Radhika refuses saying no food till the moon comes out. As a joke Yug tells Teji that sometimes that moon doesn't come out for 3 days. He tells Teji that if he wants the moon to come out, he'll have to act like a chicken and when he does, he sees the moon. Teji asks Radhika for food but bebe shuts him and says to do pooja first. After the moon look at the moon and start to look at their husband's face, Yug drops his keys in front of old man who's marrying Gitika andwhen he bends down to pick them up, Gitika sees Sharad instead. The old man gets up and Yug takes his keys from him while the pooja continues. During the pooja dadabeer looks at Gitika and gets sad.
After the pooja Dadabeer tells bebe that Gitika's getting married and he can't do anything about it and feel bad. Bebe agrees that she wants to do something too but can't because no one will marry Gitika if this proposal is rejected and that then Gitika will have nowhere to go. Dadabeer disagrees and says she can stay home with her parents as a mother and father's responsibility is not over after the daughter gets married and that parents should treat daughters as a burden. He then compares daughters to sons saying how daughters do so much. He tells bebe that he can't watch all this and will go talk to Gitika.
Pooja goes to the kitchen and tells Vrinda to hurry help or else Teji and chachu will start eating grass. Vrinda gives Pooja a plate to give and starts going as well when she sees someone walking outside through the window. She tells Pooja to give out the rest of the food and leaves.
The lady walking turns out to be Parminder who's wearing a mangalsutra and has sindoor in her maang. She takes out the stuff for the pooja which she had hidden under her dupatta and starts doing the pooja. Vrinda is standing near a tree and sees all this and is shocked.
