Thursday Morning Thoughts!!

Hey there all the lovely people!!
Me is back, back and back for good this time... I hope you all missed me but even if you didn't here I am adat se majboor... with some thoughts.


Life is a series of beautiful moments, harsh realities and life altering decisions.
The idea of infidelity in a marital relationship is just beyond me, the inclusion of a third wheel no matter how temporary or permanent it is a big no for me personally. Cheating be it emotionally or physically is cheating nonetheless. Uma cheated on Kanak on the idea of a good that still hidden, he cheated her off their relationship, their love and their life together. While he lives in a compromise, that wound of backstabbing gave Kanak a new perspective, where she doesn't back down or bows down. She doesn't need another Uma to make her miserable, she can do it by herself if she wants. Kanak might come across as harsh, straightforward and blunt but she is a woman whose pride was hurt when she was ditched unannounced, she hath a fall from which she brought herself up by working up to something. She might be ruthless - keeping aside the goody two shoes sati savitri who loves to cry and be a doormat, just assume wouldn't a street smart woman who actually uses her brain to give it back a treat to watch.
Kanak agreed to second marriage, but in that moment it wasn't about revenge or rebound, but a realization that at some point she too has to move on, to stop living in the memories, but to fulfill that dream of hers to have a house and family of her own. She was silent but she didn't think about Uma even for a second. That is a statement of a strong woman, that it's no longer about love or sacrifice but about moving on in life loving oneself... taking decisions for oneself, but no matter what Uma is a past she is trying to learn from, to not make mistakes like him again.

And yes.. Kanak had come back as strong as ever.. Her decision of remarriage is purely for moving forward in her life in true sense.. 👏

Marriage is not something you felt you need to do move on. Marriage is share and care with hearts. Kanak is being ruthless to herself rather than any one. She is ignoring her basic nature and trying to be some one who she is not.
She used to be a strong woman. Now she projecting herself as a strong woman but she is becoming weaker than ever in her life. The fighter who fought all the troubles but still stood at her beliefs is no longer there to see.
I see a lost fighter in Kanak now who is trying to do something because she can't stop herself from loving Uma.
In the end the biggest person who will hurt in this is herself more than any one. She need to give time to herself and listen to her broken heart.
It may never heal but it will patch up surely.
When you try to make something on top of your broken heart pieces it will fall down one day when foundation is not strong. Then more people will hurt and the whole thing will get more messier than now.

It's technically each to their own perspective and I appreciate that you brought a different one up.
But tears don't signify weakness, tears rolled down her face because a person was shoved out of the door, thrown out of life - that is hurt, a feeling of pain which she subjected herself to when she walked back into Uma's house.
And marriage in our part of the world is the solution to everything big or small. Kanak loved once and how she suffered is already on display. It took her two years to come in terms with it, and yes she cannot stop loving him, but Love is not everything... she cannot continue to wail in misery waiting for him.
