Well, Kanak called Uma and later he disconnects the call telling Meera Dono bi nai hai what does he mean? and what is his relation with Kanak (I was really disappointed with his words and act) Uma could told Kanak is his Fiance in his next sentence, but no very bad attitude.

After reaching home he lifted her in his arms and say I love u so much.

(I was puzzled looking at Uma's behavior in two different places - Party and House)

I know Kanak will packup Meera from her life forever.

Precap is some what strange & i am sure Uma will not Introduce Kanak to this Vamp.

Yes, it was a relief but just like you, i was pretty disappointed with umas behavior. I think he meant it literally - currently Kanak is neither his gf nor his wife (technically, at least). But I don't care, he couldve just said shes his fiance. Point is why didn't he? Was it bcoz he was drunk? Usually ppl say kuch bhi when theyret drunk.
