Serial gossip are not a reliable source how many spoilers we saw about Kanaks death and one-year leap coming back as IPS officer. Nothing happened like that so uma won't leave medical profession apart from his dharam he respects and love his profession he wanted to do selfless service for the people so maybe for temporarily he stops practicing but after he gets free from the case he would start his practice infact even more in an advanced way. I guess we would see uma receiving nobel prize as kanak said for the invention of the fertility medicines
