So here I am, again, with another mythological symbolism. I always loved Adi as a villain, as a comic relief. Ayush is a great actor of course. But Adi always remembers me of the demon 'Andhakasur'.
According to hindu mythology, Andhaka was Shiv's son, whom he has given to demon king, 'Hiranyaksha'. Andhaka was a troubled childhood, he was cumning, jealous, egoistic & lewd.
Here, Adi was Uma's brother about whom he was really concerned initially. Though, Adi has all the above qualities which Andhaka had.
Andhaka had left the Kailash parvat (Shivji's abode) in his chidhood, and unknown to his fate, when he came back he saw that Shivji is already married with a beautiful girl. He fell in lust with her & tries to molest her, this infuriates Shivji & he banishes him from kailash. And here too, we all know how Adi tried to rape Kanak but before Uma could reach for him he left.
After this, Andhaka comes back one last time to abduct Patvati & tries to kill her & Shivji's rage breaks all limits & he announces a fight against him.
Though, here, Adi abducted Kanak & tried to kill her, Uma rescued her & Adi was arrested by police. But after yesteday's epi we can say that Uma's fight will be not only against Masisa but will be against Adi too.
P.s : Andhaka was blind. Adi is not technically but he is blindfolded by his impulsive nature, his anger & his greed. And Andhaka had killed his foster father to attain the unattainable. I won't be surprised if they shows at the end, Adi tries to betray Masi or try to kill masi. Because this type of person can't be trustworthy be it demon Andhaka or human Adi.
P.p.s : Technically Andhaka was Shiv-Parvati's child, but here we can apply the term that 'Bhabhi ma saman hoti hai' (brother's wife is like mother)
