OS - candles and flowers.
"Uma, Kanak screamed from the bathroom... "Uma, What happened to light? She asked again. Uma stood at the bathroom door, asking her if she was alright.. "yeah I fine, she mumbled " you don't sound find, did you slip, he inquired. "I amscared of darkness, she replied. "I will go to check the fuse box, Uma assuring her that power would come back soon. "No please don't go, she said from behind the door. "So you going to come out or should I come, Uma asked with playful teasing... Kanak narrowed her eyes "you just need an excuse to flirt she replied. "Okay then, Since you are not interested, I have lighted the candles and going to check on the fuse box, you can come out and be in the light. You don't have to be in there alone in darkness Uma said and the door closed softly behind him. There is nobody at home and still he had to close the door, Kanak shook her head at his sense of privacy and opened the bathroom door, stepping out into the room, a room she hadn't seen before like that, glowed in the light of candles, casting a play of light and shadow on the surroundings... her lamp was burning in center on the table, Uma still didn't know that it was hers.. wrapped up in the towel she treaded around the candles to the dresser, everything looked surreal ... while she was scared in the darkness in the bathroom Uma while talking to her, calming her down had put so much light for her, so that wouldn't ever be scared in their room. Kanak saw the flower basket that sat on the side table, a smile came along with a plan, she added the flowers to the candles and it was a room perfectly decorated. She was admiring her work smugly, when the door opened and Uma stepped in. "Changed your mind, he drawled in a deep voice, he walked towards her, their eyes locked in a silent dance, Kanak was aware of her state of undress, yet she couldn't break the gaze, he was using it as an advantage to get an upper hand, she stood as resilient as she could, till he stepped into her space, his face inches away, he leaned in, his lips a breath away from hers, he stopped as her eyes closed. She waited for an eternity, and opened her eyes to see him standing back straight with his arms folded on his chest and watching her in amused delight. She realized what he had done, and a deep shade of red ran over her body. "she hit his arm, calling out foul play, she turned and biting her lips to stop smiling, her own silliness making her facepalm herself. He had that power over her, that no matter how strong she was, the moment he closed the distance between them, her resolution dissolved into a puddle down her stomach.
"Flowers are a nice addition he said trying to break ice between them... "yeah and you didn't even notice them, she said pretending to complain... "honestly I did see them, but stopped thinking you might make fun of it, as "ab room mey kaun si pooja hai " he smiled shrugging his shoulders and she laughed out, at his joke... she hadn't even thought about it, but she liked the way he thought she might take it. Their roles were reversing. And she was happy about it. She was lost in a trance, when he again stepped forward and held her back, his fingers burning through the towel, he pulled her closer, her form was crushed into him... she looked up in shock and he caught her lips and kissed her with unrelenting passion, searing her soul and being and losing himself in her.
