I didn't view the spoilers of him arrested neither did I watch today's OLV. But I read somewhere that when Uma was getting arrested, some news cast said that he forced a girl into marriage and that is why he is behind bars. But if the reason VedAnsh get him arrested is because he is not giving up on Kanak and still trying hard to get her back , then the news cast would say something else for the reason of Uma getting arrested.
