What if the one who entered the room in dim light was not Kanak but Palomi and in his anger, Uma thought her as Kanak and set the bed on fire on her not resisting his advance and let him continue???

This thought occurred to me on knowing about the spoiler that palomi had locked Kanak and had dressed herself im bridal attire

That would be a super interesting twist.

But would Palomi go so far with Uma just to get him?

Her truth would be caught and she'd be punished for sure...not to mention fall in the eyes of Uma.

God, Palomi was so desperate to have Uma that she was ready to face the consequences once she slept with him. The family who eat ans breath dharma would have ended up accepting her as Umashankar's wife to uphold their sanctity and justice to the abala naari she would have looked.
