Ekta kapoor has messed up our Mahabharat: Review

Mahabharat has always been close to my heart.I prefer Mahabharat over Ramayan because Mahabharat is an epic about flawed people like you and me.An epic in which even God pays for his misdeeds and is shot to death by a poisoned arrow at a tender age of 36. So when Ekta Kapoor announced that she was going to make Mahabharat I was a bit scared.Ekta Kapoor has the reputation to kill anything that is good or creative.But when I saw the promos I was a bit relieved .The promos looked promising.
So I sat down on the floor to watch this amazing Epic.I missed the initial part.But I did catch the "vastraharan" scene of Draupadi.Within 5 minutes I realized that Ekta Kapoor and her director have f**ked up the epic for good.The cast is horrible.These wooden faced idiots,male and female, cannot act, that is a fact and we know it.But it is the job of the director to get the emotions out of an actor. Bhishma's vow,Draupadi's Vastraharan , Abhimanyu's death,Karna's death are extremely important stages in Mahabharat. Draupadi's Vastraharan scene is shot in a very tacky and cheap manner .If this is how Ekta Kapoor is going to present the Mahabharat then God save us

The cast is the most pathetic part of this whole cheap affair. Anita Hasnandani is yuck !!! .I am speechlees at her ability of not being able to emote in tailor made scene.What is she good at ? Smooching and showing off some skin ? It is completely brainless to have refused Draupadi's role to Anita Tanwar.Hasnandani was not even hamming.It was something more pathetic. All she was doing was screaming,trying to pop her eyes out of their socket.Her dialog delivery and pronunciation was so bad and her voice so shrill that I turned on the mute.Draupadi's helplessness,rage,anger at being insulted was completely absent.There was no trace of resolve in her voice and expressions when she vows to avenge her insult.Completely flat.Anita Hasnandani does not deserve a role of a daasi(maid servant) in Mahabharat,so bad is her acting.And Ekta Kapoor rewarded her with Draupadi's role.Big joke.

Another loser is Aryan Vaid.What IS that thing ? It seems as if he has come straight out of Big Boss,kicked out by Anupama Verma and walked on the sets of Kapoors Mahabharat.I saw Hasnandani for the first time.But I had seen Aryan Vaid acting(I mean,not acting) and I knew that this wooden faced door handle cannot act.Aryan Vaid is miles ahead of being pathetic.Where is Duryodhan's arrogance,his walk,his talk.Beefed up body does not mean Duryodhan.Duryodhan's arrogance was from within.Arrogance was Duryodhan's another name. He had beleif and conviction in his deeds.Aryan Vaid is absolutely incapable of expressing these emotions. It was hilarious to see him pat his thigh indicationg where Draupadi will sit.For a moment I thought he was about to go into a wrestling match.There was no expression of satisfaction on Aryan Vaid's face that he has finally won and avenged his so called insult at the hands of Draupadi.He is third grade and much worse.

Makrand deshpande is otherwise a brilliant actor.But he too has messed up in Maharashi Vyas's role.What was he doing ?

This "Kahani HamareMahabharat ki" has completely dissapointed us. It is good that it is your Mahabharat Ekta Kapoor, and not our Mahabharat .You can keep it .It is tacky,cheap and on acting fronts it is a big Zero.No brainer.

Anita Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar looked good in the promo of the next episode.There needs to be some real hell of a good acting,good sets and good special effects if Kapoor wants to salvage something of "KHMK"

i agree with the article...I also disliked the fact they took the royal costumes and thrones and placed it with tatooes and chiffon clothing...I don't know y Ekta is putting much more emphasis on Cheerharan and making pep feel it was cursed by Amba and Dhropadhi places curse on Hastinapur that because of my cheer haran there will b a mahabharat, which isn't true (if i remember correctly). They stopped Dhropadhi from placing a curse and I don't think Amba cursed hastinapur that another female will b insulted and she will cause the loss of hastinapur....

I just miss the royal traditional look and the performance. Lets just hope things get better.

I've been saying it from day 1. I have a thing against Ekta for removing Akashdeep as Duryodan for what being buff. That wa fixable he could have had more time to tone up as his health hasn't been all that good then to give him Kans Mamas role is laughable an actor of such calibre should not be demeaned by giving pointless roles. He deserves better than that a main role in a positive light as he is religious (He wears a sacred necklace and red thaga and prays everytime. He's the only actor that does that) Akash does know how to play positive characters U know watch Kuch Is Tara and everyone will know what i mean.

shakuni is hideous.. over the top acting.. and what if with his coustume.. does not look like a prince. he looks like street magic man🤢

Ekta has totally killed it.. what are political parties doing in india.. some one must get involved and shut this stupidity
