was karna-draupadi secretly in love - Page 4

after readin everyones comments, i can honestly say am enjoyin this and learnin so much, ppl think Draupadi and Karan hated eachother, ppl think they secretly loved eachother, maybe they did secretly love, i mean if u love someone u secretly love u do ur best to try and hide, also another thing that proves a love is insults, it happens, when u really love someone but dont want to admit u try and hate that person, stupid as it may sound, it is true.
All we can do is sit and watch this amazin epic 😃

Well...I recently read a book...Palace of Illusious...which is basically Mahabharat through the point of view of Draupadi. In it, the author says that Draupadi had strong feelings towards Karan, but Karan never reciprocated them. But, in the end it is revealed that Karan too had feelings for Draupadi...which is the reason he never married

hey wasn't it that karna wanted to compete for draupadi's hand but was rejected by draupadi because he was just a charioteer's son.

well how are we to know, but Draupadi is considered a Sati, so I would not think that she would like karna

and besides in the swayamwar she openly insults him, that does not seem like love to me.

Name of his wife was Hrituwati but he was more close to his girlfriend or deputy wife Asmita who committed sati after his death

Dont know abt this book. But I'll try to buy it. But it is alwasys better to read original version. There r chances of fact change in adopted versions

its sad that even after reading everybody's comment u concluded so. Ur notion of love is nothing but direct side-effect of the constant viewing of the negative K-soaps. I really feel sad the way she makes Kachra of every relation be it husband wife or father son in her shows. There is no place for ego n insult in true love. Draupadi didn't loved anybody secretly. She was a Sati. She loved Arjuna n Arjuna only amongst human

no drupati and karan never loved each other...
in drupati swayam varam...he is able to hit the rotating fish in the eye by looking at the image....the only other person who culd do that is Arjun...but it is drupati who refuses him...bcuz she thinks he belongs to a lower cast...that he is not a kshatirya...she insults him saying he is a 'Raathayaa' that he cant meet her needs...as he himself servives on duryodhan's money...thats when duryodhan makes him the king of Anga...so they both never liked each other!

karan is the son go Lord Surya and supposed to be more powerful than arjun even lord krishna knew it...he himself says that even 100 arjuns cannot beat one Karan. Its not that karan never believed in krishna...but his loyalty toward duryodan was more than his respect for krishna...bucz in time of need duryodan was there for him and eventually he made him the king!

no draupadi never loved karan. draupadi insulted karan saying that he was from lower status thus not letting him compete for her hands in marriage. and then later karan would insulted draupadi which made arjun vowed that he will kill karan one day.
