Talking money with Mayank Anand | ||
Money. That's what drives everyone in the final analysis, whether in the glamour world of acting or the hard grind of scripting and producing. Cashin' In sits down with TV celebs to know well they handle their financial matters, and tracks their spending patterns. It is ironical. The Dill Mill Gayye actor Mayank Anand understands the importance of money but at the same time is a huge spendthrift. How important is money for you? It is very important. If I had to measure the importance of money in my life, I would rate it as 11/10. Are you an impulsive buyer? I love to shop. I blow money on shopping whenever I have an off. I believe in hard earning and spending even harder. I have only invested in myself. I invest in art, books, different courses, painting and travelling. A Honda City car I bought for Rs eight lakhs four years ago. I don't feel financially secure because acting as a profession is uncertain. I have many things to do now. I mishandle my expenses. It was $ 240. I earned it by doing a summer job when I was studying in Chicago. I handed it to my mom and she still has not used it. She has kept it like a memorable gift. I carry Rs. 4,000 to 5,000 every day. I know it is a lot of money to carry on a daily basis. I hope no one comes to steal it after reading this. Do you invest in the stock market?
