Once I had gone to my beauty parlour in a real bad state. I had worn a rather drab dress and had my hair all oiled and plaited back with my spectacles on my nose. And then these bunch of young, well-dressed college girls came there and kept debating whether it was the heroine of Choona Hai Aasman that sat besides them. The worst part was that finally they did recognise me and came over to meet me. I was so embarrassed because I was looking really ugly. That day, I promised myself that I would never step into a public place without looking presentable.
