I decided that I wanted to start a new FF on Mahi and Shabd..if you like it I will. Let me know.

Character Outline

Mahi Malhotra - young, bubbly, talkative, beautiful daughter of the Malhotra family. She is the youngest of 3 sisters and majors in modelling. (she is not always in a salwar kameez...but is quite modern)

Shabd Sareen - Only son of Aditya and Sunita Sareen. He just finished his college in Mumbai majoring in photography. He is rich, and sometimes arrogant but sweet at heart.

Raji Malhotra - She is eldest of the 3 sisters. She is shy, beautiful, smart and heplful.

Veer Khurana - He is a very inquisitive man. He is the Managing Director of his fathers Modelling Agency where Shabd's father is his partner.

Soni Malhotra - She is energetic, confused, happy and loveable person. She cheers up anyone that is around her.

Jeet Khurana - He is musical, shy and smart biy. His ambition is to become a famous singer one day but helps out at the office.

Prince - the youngest out of all the children in the malhotra family.

Here's the first part! Don't mind my hindi.

Part one:

Moni:Arre Mahi! Jaldi kar, mehmaan kissi waqt bhi a sak the hain, yelled Moni at her youngest daughter.

Today was the engagement of 2 of the daughters in the Malhotra family, Raji and Soni. They were getting married to the love of their lives, their high school sweethearts, Veer and Jeet Khurana. Raji was getting engaged to Veer while Soni was getting engaged to Jeet.

Mahi:Uffo! Ayi Mummyji! Main Raji di aur Soni ko tayyar karri hoon. Bas...abhi ayi!

(Mahi was wearing this nice ocean green salwar kameez with matching bangles and with her hair left down)

Raji:Arre jaa na Mahi. Mehmaan a bhi honge...dekhna kaun aya hai, main aur Soni kudh tayyar ho jayenge.

Mahi:Mere cute si badi behen. Aap mujhe itna bewakoof smjha hai kya. Aap kyon nahin kehte ki aap veer jiju ka besabri si intezaar hai. Aur tu bhi Soni, dekhna, kaisi sharmari hai. Tere sagai ki din par aisa hal to suhaag raat mein kaisi hogi?

Soni:Tu ab bahut bolne lagi hai Mahi, tu jaa warna Mummyji tumhe bahut daanti gi.

Mahi:Haan haan, jaari hoon, and Mahi left after looking at her sisters flushing red.

Mahi:Kya kam hai mummyji?

Moni:Tu Prince ko leker mehmaan ka swagat karri gi. Mujhe kitchen mein kuch kam hai.

Mahi:Theek hai mummyji, chal Prince," she motioned to her younger brother.

As Mahi and Prince welcomed their guests, Soni and Raji were still getting ready. Soni in her blue and yellow lehenga and Raji in her green and pink lehenga with matching jewelry with their hair left down nicely straightned.Both of them were getting excited to get engaged to the love of their lives.

Soni:Hun kitne lucky hai na ki humari shaadi humari mann pasand ki ladke ki saat ho rahi hai. Aur dekhna, hum ek hi ghar mein jayenge!

Raji:Haan..hum bahut kushkismat hai, par ab meri yehi rab se prarthna hai ki Mahi ko acha ladka mil jaye.

Mahi:Aap fikar mat ki jiye, meri shaadi ki liye bahut waqt hai, said MAhi while entering the room.

Mahi:Ab aap dono neeche aa jaye, Veer aur Jeet jiju neeche aap ka intezaar kar re hain.

As Mahi brought Soni and Raji down the stairs to the hall, Veer and Jeet couldn't get their eyes off their to be wives. They were so beautiful!

They didn't look bad themselves. Veer was wearing a nice maroon sherwani while Jeet was wearing a blue one.

Prince:Arre jiju, ap kahan kho gaye?

Jeet+Veer: Kahin bhi nahin turning red while coming out of their trance.

Brij:"Chaliye, ab sagai shuru karte hain. Uffo, Mahi kya tum phool ki thali darwaaze ki paas liye agi. Hume bad mein pooja ki lye chahiye.

Mahi:Theek hai daddyji. Abhi leker aati hoon.

As Mahi was coming back with the plate full of floweres, she bumped into a tall handsome man wearing a black and silver designed sherwani spilling the flowers over both of them while being lost into each others eyes.

Mahi:Fitteh mooh tera! Tum dekh kar nahin chal sakte kya? Maine kitna waqt lagaya that phoolon ko sajane mein. Saara kam kharab kar diya.

However, the man still didn't come out of his trance, he was to busy admiring her beauty. He had never seen someone so beautiful before, not even the Mumbai girls.

Mahi:Hello mister. Tum ghoor ghoor kar kisko dekh rahi hain. Yeh sab aapke wajah se hua hai...sare phool girade.

Shabd:Meri wajah se..tum bhi to dekh kar chal sakti thi. Anyways, mein maffi mang let hoon. I'm sorry.

Mahi:Ab tum sirf sorry bhi kaho gay yaan meri madat bhi karo gay?

Shabd:Kitne batameez ladke ho tum, theek sai mehmaano se baat bhi nahin kart sakti.

Mahi:Excuse me, yeh tumhari wajah say hua hai.

Shabd:Whatever.

Brij:Mahi jaldi kar. Shubh mahurat nikal jara hai.

Mahi:Ayi daddyji!

Soni:Kahan thi tum Mahi? Itni der kyon laga di?

Mahi:Kyon Soni...intezaar nahin hota tumse?

Soni:Mahi!

Moni:Theek hai. Nahut ho gaya. Sagai shuru karte hain.

And then one by one they exchanged rings to their high school sweethearts. After, all the guests came to give their hearty congratulations to the newly engaged couple after the pooja was done.

Raji:Arre Veer, kisko dhoondh rahein?

Veer:Woh meri massi ka beta, meri massi to yahan hai, par uska beta Mumbai se aane wala tha. Shayad woh humari sagai par nahin a saka.

Shabd:Veer tum kaisay bate karte ho. Mere bhai ki sagai aur main na aon?

Jeet:Shabd..tum kab aye? Maine sagai tumhe nahin dekha. Kahan the?

Shabd:Woh main...

Veer:Koi baat nahin. Ao, tumhe tumhari hone wali bhabhion se milata hoon. Raji, Soni...yeh hai Shabd, mera doosra bhai.

Shabd:Namaste.

Raji+Soni:Namaste.

Raji:Bahut khushi huyi, tumse milkar.

Shabd:Mujhe bhi. Par mujhe apne aap par tarass ara hai.

Soni:Woh kyon?

Shabd:Aap mere bhaion ki liye luch zyada khoobsoorat ho. Ab is bhai ka kya hoga?

Everyone laughed at what Shabd said, and began a conversation; how they were, what they were doing and etc.

Veer:Arre, mujhe apni hone waali sali nahin dekha deri. Woh Kahan hai?

Mahi:Jiju..main yahan hoon. Apne bulaya aur main na aoon. Yeh ho sak ta hai kya?

As Mahi entered the area where Veer, Raji,Soni,Jeet and Shabe were, she stopped dead in her tracks. The man who was impolite to her was laughing with her sisters and brother-in-laws.

Part 2:
Shabd:"Tum!"

Everyone was shocked to see that Mahi and Shabd knew each other; and by the looks of it, they didn't get off to a good start.

Raji:"Tum dono ek doosre ko jaante ho?"

Mahi:"Ji Raji di, iski wajah se maine saare phool girade aur sagai ke liye der hogi."

Shabd:"Maine sorry to kaha tha na?"

Mahi:"Haan, kaha that. Par aise ghoor ghoor kar dekhre the ki tumne kabhie ek ladki ko dekha nahin. Phir meri madat sahi tara nahin karte."

Shabd:"Theek hai, maiin phir se sorry keh ta hoon. Sorry."

Mahi:"Ab iska kya faida. Mera phool to kharab ho gaya na. Par koi baat nahin. Ap ko maaf kar diya."

Shabd:"Thank you."

Soni:"Good. Ab chote bachon ki tara haat milao aur dost ban jao."

Mahi:"Theek hai. Friends?" Asked Mahi taking out her hand.

Shabd:"Friends" shaking her hand.

Jeet:"Good job!"

As the party went on, Shabd and Mahi got to really know eachother.Shabd was suprised to find out that Mahi was interested in becoming a model. He talked about how his dad was half owner in a modelling agency. They talked more about the fashion world and what they liked and disliked. Soon a the song Hum Tum came on with all the couples going on the dance floor.

Shabd:"Mere saath dance karogi Mahi?"

Mahi:"Umm..."

Shabd:"Come on Mahi. Please?"

Mahi:"Theek hai. Chalo," putting her hand in Shabd's hand and walking to the dance floor.

Raji, Soni, Veer and Jeet noticed how close they were dancing. They could notice that they were falling for each other; or were atleast attracted to each other.

Shabd took Mahi's left hand put it on his shoulder, taking her right hand in his and placing his other hand on her waist.

The song finished and a more energetic one came on but Shabd and Mahi were still dancing. They were lost in each others eyes. Shabd liked that Mahi's eyes showed her bubbliness but also her simplicity while Mahi liked that Shabd's eyes showed his sweetness and protectiveness.Just then, Jeet and Soni came and snapped their fingers in front of their faces coming out of their trance.

Jeet:"Tum dono ko kya hua? Kahan kho gayi the?"

Shabd:"A...kahin bhi nahin Jeet, hum to bas..."

Soni:"Theek hai, theek hai. Chalo dance karte hain."

Mahi:"Nahin, tum teeno jao, mujhe yeh gana pasand nahin hai."

Shabd:"Kaisi baat kari hi Mahi, gana to itna acha hai."

Mahi:"Mujhe pasand nahin hai."

Shabd:"Tum ladkiyon ek jaisi hi hain, koi taste nahin hai."

Mahi:"Kya kaha tumney? Hum ladkiyon mein koi taste nahin hai. Tum ladkon mein ko taste nahin hai! Sab ek jaise hot hain. Koi dimaag nahin hota; saandh kahin kai!"

Shabd:"Saandh? Aur woh bhi main? Tumhe dikhta nahin ki main kitna handsome hoon. Balki tum ek pagli ho. Nahin....ek chipkali ho tum.

Mahi:"Tum...aur handsome? Mazak kar re ho kya? Bandar jaise ho. Tum ladkon mein ghamand bahut hai!"

Shabd:"Tum apne aap ko samjthe kya ho?"

Mahi:"Main samjhte hoon ki ladkiyan ladkon se behtar hot ti hain. Bas!"

Shabd:"Nahin...ladke behtar hote hain!"

Mahi:"Ladki!"

Shabd:"Ladka!"

Raji:"Kya hua? Tum dono to abhi..."

Soni:"Woh Raji di, Mahi aur Shabd..."

Mahi:"Kuch mat kaho Soni. Yeh ladke bhi na apne aap ko samjthe kya hain. Chalo Raji di, Soni!"

Raji:"Par Mahi..."

Mahi:Nahin Raji di. Chaliye hum is saandh se door chalte hain."

Veer:"Yeh tum kya keh rahi ho...please aisa mat karo."

Shabd:"Nahin Veer...is ladkion ki koi zaroorat nahin hai! Chaliye yahan se!"

Jeet:"Par Shabd..."

Shabd:"Chalo!"

And with that, they went their seperated ways. What could have been a nice friendship took a nasty turn.

Part 3

Soni:"Yeh Tumne kya kiya Mahi? Tumne Shabd se itna bhala boora kyon kaha?"

Mahi:"Soni, yeh tum kya keh rahi ho? Usne yeh sab kiya, usne hi shuru kiya hai aur tum keh rahi ho ki maine kya kiya?"

Raji:"Theek hai, jo ho gaya so ho gaya. Ab tum sab kuch bhoolado aur age bharo. Tum dono kitne achay lag rahi the ek saat."

Mahi:"Nahin Raji di. Aap jaanti hai Shabd humare bare mein kaise soch tha hai? Nahin, main uske surat bhi nahin dekhna chati!"

Soni:"Par Mahi?"

Mahi:"Please Soni!"

As the girls tried their best to persuade Mahi into forgetting all this, the boys tried with all their might to convince Shabd to forget about all this.

Veer:"Baat samajh ki koshish karo Shabd, tum khamakga is baat ko badi banara hai."

Jeet:"Haan, bhai theek keh ra hain. Yeh sab kuch bhool jao."

Shab:"Main yeh kaise bhoola doon Mahi mujhse kya kaha? Usne mujhe saandh kaha!"

Veer:"Par phir bhi Shabd, koshish to karo."

Shabd:"Please Veer, main is baare mein aur discussion nahin karna chatha."

Veer:"Theek hai. Aur kuch karte hain."

Jeet:"Ek kaam karte hain, kyon nahin Shabd humare liye gana gaye?"

Shabd:"Kya? Main aur gana! Nahin!"

Jeet:"C'mon Shabd, apne bhairon ki liye bhi nahin. Please?"

After Shabd gave it a thought, he decided to sing after all.

Shabd:"Theek Hai, chalo."

Jeet:"Thanks Shabd! Ladies and gentleman, mera bhai Shabd apke liye ek gana gane wala hai. Put your hands together for Shabd!"

Shabd:"Thanks Jeet, yeh gana mere nahin dost ki liye" smirking at Mahi.

Mahi:"Yeh saandh ga bhi sakta hai!"

Raji:"Mahi!"

Mahi:"Kya?"

Ladki Kyon from Hum Tum

Ladk kyon na jaane ladko se nahin hoti
Sochti hai zyada kam vo samajh ti hai
Dil kuch kehta hai kuch aur hi karti hai
Ladki kyon na jaane ladko se nahin hoti

Pyar use bhi hai magar shuruaat tumhi se chahe
Kudh mein uljhi uljhi hai par baalo ko suljhaee
(Shabd comes around Mahi while Mahi is fixing her hair but immediatly stops when Shabd sings that line)

Hum ache dost hai par us nazar tumko dekha nahin
Woh sab theek hai par uske baare mein ne nahin socha
(shabd imitates Mahi's voice)

Sab se alag ho tum kehke paas tumhari aaye
Aur kuch din mein tumhe alag sa kuch bhi na usko paa'e

Gaadi tez chalate ho jaldi mein kyon khaate ho
(Shabd goes near Jeet and Veer and puts his arms on their shoulders)

Veer:"Arre Shabd, yeh to baat sahi hai!"

Tumhe badalne ko pass woh aati hai
Tumhe mitaane ko chaal bichati hai
Baaton baaton mein tumhe satati hai
Pahale hasati ha phir bara rulate hai
Ladki kyon na jaane kyon ladko si nahin hoti

Mahi:"Acha, main batati hoon ladki kyon ladko se nahin hoti!"

Soni:"Haan Mahi, sikado ki ladkiyan kaisi hoti hain!"

What turned out to be a normal performance for their entertaiment turned out to be a war between the men and the women (the adults decided to leave the kids alone and enjoy and went o have dinner).

Ae itna hi khudh de khush ho to piche kyon ate ho
Phool kabhi to hazaar tophe aakhir kyon late ho

Apna naam nahin bataya apne coffee pine chalenge
Main apko ghar schord doon, phir kab milenge
(goes towards Shabd with a smirk)

Raji:"Tum bilkul sahi keh rahi ho Mahi. Ladke aise karte hain," said Raji giving a look at Veer.

Bikhara bikhara bematlav sa toota phoota jina
Aur kehte alag se hain hum taanke apna sina
(imitating Shabd's Stance)

(Mahi goes towards Jeet, Veer and Shabd)

Bhiga toya farsh pe tootpaste ka dhakan kahin
Kale ke moze ulatke pahane waqt kuch bhi nehosh nahi

Jina ka tumko dhang sikhati hai
tumhe jaanwar se insaan banati hai
uske bina ek pal reh na sakoge tum
Usko pata hai yeh keh na sakoge tum
Is liye ladkiyan ladko se nahin hoti

Jeet:"Shabd, Jawab dena!"

Shabd:"Jawab mil gaya."

(Walks towards Mahi that their inches apart)

Jaane kaun kaunse din woh tumko yaad dilyae
Pyar ko chahe bhool bhi jaye tarikein na bhoolaye

(Shabd walks around Mahi)

1st March ko nazar milaye
4 April ko main milne ayi
21 May tumne chooha tha
6 June mujhe kuch hua that

Ladkon na kya hai, kisis bhi more pe woh mur jaye
Abhi kisi ka hai abhi kisi aur se woh jur jaye
(stomping Shabd on the toe with her heel making Shabd jump around in pain)

Tumhari mummy daddy ghar par nahin hai main a jao
Tumhari firend akeli ghar jari hai bechari mai chod aon

Ek haan kahane ko kitna dahalati hai
Thak jaate hain hum woh jii bahalaati hain

Mahi:"Buddhu kahin ka!"

Woh sharmati hai tabhi chupaati hai
Ladki jo haan keh de use nibhati hain
Is liye Ladkiyan ladko se nahin hoti

The song finished, with the men agreeing with Shabd and the Women agreeing with Mahi. Soon, the D.J. put the music back on and everyone forgot the mini war between the men and the women except the six.

Soni:"Jo bhi tumne ladko ki bare kaha, bilkul sahi hai. Ladko aisi hi hoti hai," said Soni when the six got into a small group in the hall again.

Jeet:Arre, tum ladkiyo kuch kam bhi nahin hai. Bahut chalaak hoti hain."

Veer:"Haan, Jeet bilkul sahi hai."

Jeet:"Thanks bhai."

Raji:"Yeh tum kya keh rahe ho Veer? Tum ladkon ka dimaag chota hai, waise jaise ek jaanwar ki tara!"

Brij:"Yeh main kya sun raha hoon? Tum log kyon jaghar re ho?"

Mahi:"Dekhiye na daddyji, Shabd keh ra hai ki ladko ladkiyan se ache hai. Shabd ghalat hain na?"

Aditya:"Shabd, yeh main kya sun raha hoon?Kya maine tumhe yeh hi sikhaya hai kya?"

Shabd:"Nahin, bas who main..."

Moni:"Theek hai, ab yeh jagra nad karo. kyon bacho jaise lard rahe ho."

Mahi:"Par mummyji..."

Moni:"Par war kuch nahin Mahi!"

Mahi:"Theek hai."

Yash:"Arre Brijsahib, mujhe apse kuch pooch na tha."

Brij:"Kya hai Yashsahib?"

Yash:"Mujhe lagta hai ki hum in bachon ko chute main behjna chahiye. Mera ek farmhouse hai Goa mein. wahan bahut nazaa ayega or bachein relax bhi ho jeyenge shaadi se pehle. Kya kehte hain?"

Brij:"Idea to bura nahin hai. Theek hai, tum dono jao sakte ho."

Jeet:"Dono kyon, Mahi bhi humare saath ayegi, uske bina mazaa nahin ayega."

Soni:"Haan daddyji, Mahi bhi hamare saath ane di jiye na."

Brij:"Theek hai, par tum charon apne ap mein busy honge, Mahi bore ho jaye gi."

Veer:"Bore kahan unclejee, Shabd bhi humare saath ara hai. Kyon Shabd?"
