OQ and Saradha at Veeramakali temple. We are given a short
lecture on "Sthala Puranam"by the poosari - "antha kalathile,
intha area le neriya problems. Intha amman vantha , ella problem
um solved" - OQ does "ba ba black sheep" act and Saratha lends
side support. Poosari burns camphor and OQ has her request
written on paper. The paper is tied around the soolam - Veerama-
kali's assistant will read all the requests at leisure and action
will be taken ( Roja actually prefers this!! Considering the fact
that all the serial police are absolutely corrupt and inefficient,
this is a better alternative, what say my fellow sufferers??
Roja plans to visit this temple and write a request to amman -
Thayee, neethan karunai panni, intha serial izhuvai yai
seekiram mudichu tharanum, engalukku vera vazhi ye
theriyalai hmmmm) OQ and Saratha are asked to go to
the main temple. One whole flock of sheep are coming out
after the dharshan. Bingo....we see Kala and hubby coming
to the same temple (Roja is curious to see Kala's request
slip!! Amman is all set for a conflict - Kala request ai fulfill
pannina , bakki ellarukkum keduthal....... Thols is a killadi,
amman ai ye kozhappa vera yaara le mudiyum???😳)
OQ and jalra come out ....Kala is happy to see her victims...
"ada ada enna athrishtam namakku? pora vara edathile
ellam namakku ammunition kidaikkuthu, amman namba
side le irukka"

Face to face meeting - OQ is skeptical about seeing Kala -
"enna da kashta kaalam, Rameswaram ponaalun Saniswarar
vida maattar nnu solrathu correct thaan hmmm" - Kala has
a smiling face and educates OQ about how Kala is a changed
person -  "manushanga ellarumm oru naal thirunthi thaane
aaganum?? (Roja's rejoinder - exception to this rule is Thols -
intha janmathile thiruntha maattennu vow eduthu irukkar -
serial ai mudippena nnu izhukka rare??!!) I have done a lot
of damage to Aarthi but when we were in trouble, she took
us under her wing, romba nalla ponnu" OQ is happy to hear
the conduct certificate and then deems it fit to ask about
Mr.Kala - " odambu epdi irukku?? nalla irukka?" Kala
quickly interrupts saying that she has brought him there
only for curing - " cheetu katti thonga vitta, amman will
send specialists and make him alright. Neenga ethukku
vanthinga?" OQ says that she came to pray for Abi. Kala
slowly shows her mettle -"Abi kku praying, ok...  why
don't u pray for Aarthi as well?? Pavam Aarthi brought
Mano and Anu in to their business even afterAbi advised
against it. Ippo Anu is giving Aarthi a lot of trouble..." Hubby
tries to stop but we know who wins😳. OQ now has one more
reason to cry... Kala leaves a thoughtful OQ "wait pannunga,
after we pray, I will take u back home with me, Aarthi thaan
car kudutha"....

Menu and Hissy - Menu wants hissy to organize the opening
ceremony arrangements for Menaka Towers - Hissy is over-
joyed for getting this responsibility -"do not worry, ellam top
class aa panren" Now Menu imparts  some inside info - "it is
not that simple Aadhi. Already Aanandh is out to unearth some
of my secrets. This Sudhakaz, yaz kitteyO ozhazhi ( mistake
 is not Roja's!!! the way Menu rolls her "Rs" is pathetic. Roja
has no clue as to who gives the dubbing artists this idea, padu
kanraavi accent habbaaaa)  yizhukkan. Apzham I had to stage
an accident and erase all evidence. I could have put Aanadhi
behind the bars but pozhaichi pozha nnu vittutten" Hissy
egirufies "Thappu mam, u should have told me, i would have
dealt with Aanandhi" Finally Menu says that the only person
whom she can think of to replace her own self is Aadhi - Aadhi
is elated to hear that and promises to arrange for tight security.
As they go out, Giri has a pertinent doubt " Menaka Towers
work started much after our MM city project. But, that is
now completed. That is Menu's own project and she does
not show the same interest in our project??" Aadhi says he is
not worried about this -" Menaka Towers has a bright chance
of becoming Aadhi Towers in future, she did say that she can
think of only me to replace her, eh?" Giri is pleased " boss
kku Menu nna namakku antha Jenny idaikka maattalaa??"

The old man has given his pistol for servicing. the collection
spot is some mottai maadi. The vendor shows a few more
pistols but old man is happy with his own old model. As he
is testing the pistol, he sees Thols talking on the mobile. Runs
down to catch him ( antha pistol sariya shoot pannuma nnu
test panna Thols ai vida nalla target irukka enna? aana namba
bad luck thaan known fact aache!! hmmmm) but Thols is on
his bike. Old man gets in to an auto and follows. The auto
fellow says that the old man is doing some thing wrong and
refuses to follow. Old man is clever -" I am a police...CID...
 need to catch him for a case..if u do what I say, u will be
rewarded by the dept...photo paper le varum..." auto driver
is all enthu..... follows Thols ....Thols is in his usual azhukku
shirt and his kanraavi cooling goggles.......

May 5 Update

 A boring episode.

Thols house

           Continuing from Friday's episode, Thols goes into his home. Antony follows him and stops there. As Thols goes in , he finds there is a festive millieu as the landlord is celebrating some function for his youngest daughter. (I don't know what it is.) The landlord tells his daughter to get Thols blessing. He does but he refuses to participate in the function as he says he has some work to do. He goes off. Antony comes there. The landlord welcomes him and somehow convinces himself that the visitor is Thols's maternal uncle. Antony also accepts that. Then the landlord tells Antony to take some respect in Thols's apartment. Antony wanted to do just that as he could get a chance to ransack things in Thols's home. That he does and finds chellamma's picture. He compares that wikth the Menaka's picture he has. Then the landlord knocks at the door and gives Antony some sweets. But Antony goes off. Thols comes there. Amidst the dragging scenes the landlord says that Thols uncle also came there. Thols says he has no uncle and tells the landlord that he was deceived. The landlord says he could never be deceived as he is from coimbatore. Thols repeatedly says he has no maternal uncle. The landlord does not accept that. He says don't throw away relations out of quarrel. You can always patch up with him even if you don't want to marry his daughter. Thols says he wants to be at peace. Again the scene of getting the blessing. The duaghter touches Thols feet. The episode freezes on a newspaper which shows Menaka's picture and the project she is doing.

May 6 Update

Aarthi's home

    Kala comes there with Karpagam and Sharada. You may remember Kala has fuelled Karpagam about Anu. She now says don't tell everything to Anu. They go in and are welcomed by Anu. anu says she will make coffee and goes to the kitchen. Kala again does her drama in the kitchen. She tells Anu that the two old women did a big puja in the name of the three daughters of Karpagam. I asked what she is doing for Manohar and Anu. Karpagam says Mano is useless and so she will not do anything. Anu now finds herself angry and tells Kala to say that she has headache and goes to the room. Kala makes the coffee. Now she goes to karpagam and tells that Anu just acts as having headache and so does nothing. Rajesh's mom also comes there. Karpagam tells that Kala has changed a lot. She says she has to go. They all say she can go after seeing aarthi. Kala's hubby is not happy with what Kala does. But Kala says that is the only way she can make her position strong.

Street

It is already night. Aarthi is going in an auto. The driver talks to someone in a cell. Aarthi tells him not to talk to anyone in cell for his own safety. as they go in the street another person wants to share the auto. The driver asks Aarthi's permission and says this person will sit in the front and says he would get no other auto. As they go on Aarthi finds they are going to a different place and not Anna nagar. Aarthi apprehensively tells that. The driver says he knows the route well and says they will reach Anna Nagar in ten minutes. But Aarthi doesn't feel right and so tries to call by cell. But now the other passenger snatches the cell from her and he also tells her to be quiet. Aarthi says she will jump off and does so. She runs off and goes to another auto. But now three persons are there to grab her. At this moment Adhi comes there with Giri and tells him that it is Aarthi there. He goes off to rescue her. he claims that she is her sister. As aarthi hesitates he tells her that he will drop her to her home.

Aarthi's house

Adhi and Aarthi come there. Adhi calls in a loud voice her hubby's name. He tells him, "Is this the way to leave your wife alone at work and let her come alone to your home late night. You must have picked her up." He also tells Aarthi that she must have started off from work earlier or these things will happen. Karpagam tells she wanted to see Aarthi but not in this Kolam. all of them thank Adhi profusely. Adhi tells he had to do his duty as Aarthi has the same blood as himself and he couldn't leave her like that. How is Aarthi feeling?

Mano is pensive - all set to take it out on Aarthi - (awww, unakku
kovam, rosham lam kooda irukka??? news to us!!!😳) Shouts for
Aarthi and wants to know why Aadhi was allowed inside their house.
Aarthi reasons out - " he is so cute, saved me from a big danger. But
for him, I do not know where I would be!!" Mano opines that all that
is a drama -"he planned every thing and is gaining entry. You have
forgotten what all he did to Abi akka". Wise Aarthi obeserves -"athu
ellam akka namma kitte sonnathuthane??? how can he be present at
that place when I was in trouble? If u  think of a person as a rowdy, u
will not be able to appreciate their good" ( athu sari,, Aarthi kku kirukku muthi pochu...ah ah muthi pochu.... mad Roja is able to see that!!!) Mano gets angry that Aarthi suspects even Abi akka!!! Aarthi is getting wiser by the second - "Abi akka kku business le trouble
panni yirukkalaam, but he saved me out of LOVE." ( apdi podu aruvalai, amma di, nee padicha college and University name sollu, antha pakkam thalai vaichu padukka koodathunnu Roja ruling kondu vara poraa!!) Mano warns that Aadhi should not be allowed again in the house and Aarthi should not go and cootchi coo with her new "ANNA" - Wise Aarthi keeps mum but dove of peace Rajesh promises to take care of it. Aarthi's MIL chides Mano for taking this issue with such vehemence but Mano says that Aarthi can never learn (ayyo ayyo, nee DSTR thaan aanalum, some times apdiye muthu muthaa pesariye Mano!!!) Kala takes this opportunity to "mudikki vittufy"
Anu - "hmm nee summa onnu vitta sister thaan, Aarthi is blood sister for Aadhi, adhaan , paasam pongi vazhiyuthu..hmmm inimel neeyellam avvlavuthaan" - Anu stares tentatively ( ithu adutha case,athu epdi Thols kku mattum ella half baked nuts um together maatuthu???
Roja likes golden brown roasted nuts thaan, half baked ..uh uh) The whole house is seething in different directions...for different reasons...
Aadhi accomplishes his mission, once again!!!

Menu and Jenny - Jenny is reading the list of invitees and the list of news reporters - Narayanan Nair is one name which is new to Menu but Jenny has the life history - "romba popular, even his snap is not made public as he wants to be anonymous"Menu is impressed by this news and orders Jenny to call NN as soon as he surfaces in Madras.
Our old man (Anthony??? the one who wants to kill Menu - Roja kku flash back side konjam weak - loosu Rojaa, intha serial le bakki ellam puriyutha unakku??? flash back pathi complain panre??!!😳) has a
card of NN - goes to a DTP guy and wants to laminate the card with his snap imposed on NN's admit pass. Pays a whooping sum and gets his wish executed to the letter T - looks at the card happily.

Thols is working - a girl from his office, Revathy comes and cries to him - "sir, unga kitte solla bayamaa irukku aana sollithan aaganum. Suresh romba thappa en kitte behave panraar. Words, actions onnum sari illai" cries...... Thols asks Suresh to come to his cabin. Aarthi is watching all this from her cabin ( unakku vera velai illiya??? MD aache nee, velai seyya vendaama?? dhanda sambalam vangariyaa? -
snooping around sniffer dog aa nee??) Thols shouts at Suresh for his behaviour but he jumps back -" u can shout at me if my work is not up to the mark. Are u some kind of a moral police?? Do not interfere in my personal issues." Thols gets very angry, calls Suresh a rascal and tells him that if he had done the eve teasing outside the office, Revathy would have called the police and made him count kambis for eve teasing. Since this happened in the office, she complained to him and he is dealing with it. He dismisses Suresh and asks him to quit the premises before Thols gets back from his outside job. Suresh leaves angrily. Wise Aarthi watches all this (obviously, she can only watch, Thols' cabin le nadakkarathu keekathu pole - aduthu she will install a microphone there!!😳) and gets Suresh in to her cabin. Saguni is also there (apdi podu, idling le companion intha saguni thaana?? promotion kuduthu, extra salary ellam ithu kku thaana??😳) Asks Suresh about the drama in Thols' cabin " I am the chief here and I need to know (paavam eppo parthalum parrot mathiri na thaan chief, naa than chief nnu sollikkuthu!!! 😳)- Suresh azhaga dosaiyai thiruppi podaraar -
"Madam Thols kkum Revathy kkum oru ithu, (yethu?? athu kku sariyana term kooda theriyaliya unakku?) I advised Revathy not to do all this at work place. She went and mootified to Thols and now he has dismissed me..." Wise Aarthi is shocked " ennathu?? Thols kku ithu vaa??? Revathy kooda vaa?? ( this girl must be in love with Thols😳, athaan she is jealous of every girl who talks to Thols - Tholssuu, nee killadi yya, periya Don Juan image create pannikka pakkariyaa??? Shanthi, Ganga... ippo Aarthi yaa???!!!😳😳 romba thaan ninaippu unakku - chinna payyan shirt azhukka pottukkum pothe ipdi nna apram konjam smart aa dress potta.....hmmmm Roja mandai getting dry ..athan ppa kanju porathu ...😳)

Anu - Gujju  meet - as usual a nadu theru conference. Anu is waiting
for an auto to take her baby to the hospital. Gujju passes by in her car
and seeing Anu gets down. Pasam happens - both shed tears , Anu is
apologizing for leaving amma when she was sick -" amma , I had to do it because of some people hurting me by their words and deeds. I will
always love you as my mom/" After some nadu theru crying Anu informs Gujju about Aadhi showing concern for Aarthi -" theriyuma amma??? Anne, anne,  nnu suthi suthi vantha ennai lakshiyam pannalai but Aarthi ai kappathi veettukku kondu vanthu serthurikkan" Gujju is shocked by the revelation.

Thols comes back to the office and finds Suresh working still.Goes to him and shouts at him for staying back. Suresh answers backs saying that Thols can not drive him away from his rightful place. Madam MD comes out of her cabin and confronts Thols - "na than chief, na thaan chief, enna galatta?" Thols tells her that he dismissed Suresh for his misdemeanour and expresses his disapproval. Wise woman sends Suresh back to his seat and orders Thols in to her cabin - " Who ever has to be dismissed has been sent out - Revathy has been asked to quit. Shareholders, people sitting on the higher chairs have to learn to behave first. Once that is done, the likes of Suresh can be dealt with suitably. Until then, the lady staff must take care of themselves " -
Extremely pleased with the way she drove the message home and gives a sly look at Thols. Thols is aghast - wipes his head a few times and his face ( athu ellam not possible, intha wiping can not take away all the azhukku mann, try some thing else😳) Thols turns to look at Aarthi and she covers her shoulders with her sari ((awww talk about the lady staff protecting their honor!!! ) Again she is pleased with the way she managed to indicate that Thols is Romeo incarnation. Thols is dejected and gets out, Aarthi removes the cover on her shoulders ( ohhh, so all the safety is thrown to the winds when no male member is present??? so, if this is all this easy to protect one self, why did she need her "ANNA" to save her from the rowdies??? purinjittalum....😳) Aarthi sports a victorious smile ...

Gujju is angry - pacing up and down and shouts at the maid who offers food. Hissy comes and sees that his mom is upset. "amma enna aachu?? why such anger?" Gujju then expresses her displeasure about hissy helping MD and of course hissy makes sure to allay our doubts -
"amma, u wanted me to break that Abi's family in to pieces. All her siblings are devoted to her and breaking them up is not easy. As I was thinking about my modus operandi, God gave me an opportunity to save Aarthi. And, now, I have gained entry in to that house. Inimel paarunga, ellaraiyum thani thaniya pirichudaren" - gloats. Gujju is overwhelmed ( enna thavam seythanai?? Gujju, yenna thavam seythanai?? villain ai pol oru pillaiyai pera, ennnnaaa thavam seythanai - BG by Roja) Hissy is also happy - amma, Mothers' day kku, intha gift pothumaa , innum konjam venumaa???

Veerasamy and Anthony in conference  - Anthony tells his servant that
his revenge saga is nearing its finishing line - " antha Menu kku nalaikki sangu. Opening ceremony le intha diwali gun use panni dishum dishummm" Veerasamy shouts - "muthalali, jakkirathai,epdi ange enter pannuvinga?? security will be tight" - Now Anthony shows the ID card of NN and Veera is elated by the innovative method. "enakku kai kaal vizhunthu pochu, muthalali, athaan ennale help panna mudiyalai. (apdiyaa?? kai kaal rendu energy um un voice box kku poiduchu!! enna koral??? nee pesarathu straight aa hell le irukkira Das ayya kathile
vizhum pole irukku!!!😳) Unga plan is perfect, Das ayya athma will
bless you" Now Anthony says that he has plans only to shoot Menu and has no idea about how he will get out - " I may even die and so I want to say the vote of  thanks now itself. Nee enakku support panniyathukku thanks" Veerasamy says that even if Anthony dies after shooting Menu, it is worth it --" once I hear that u died after killing Menu, I have my poison ready, I will drink and follow suit,
Hell le poi namakku velai irukkume". Anthony is touched by the loyalty, unnecessarily kicks a cart wheel and stares at.... vera enga?? oru muttaal koottame ukkanthu intha serial ai pakkarathe, athai than staring...😳

Hurried activity all over, strict security arrangements, people enter Menaka Towers after showing their invitations - Hissy and Giri at the
entrance - Hissy hissing in the phone and Giri playing jalra as usual.
Hissy wants confirmation from Giri about his arrangements and Giri assures -  " mam parthuttu asanthu poiduvaanga"- Hissy is happy to hear the endorsement. Jenny arrives with a bouquet and hissy wants to
know why madam is delayed - "VVIP s vara neram, she must be here to welcome" - Jenny smiles - (Roja interprets😳 - unnai ethukku vasalile niruthi yirukku??? u do that work, madam kku ithellam pazhakkam illai, avangalai ellarum welcome panni kooti porathuthaan usual aa nadakkum) "dont panic, mam knows where she should be at what time"Ravi (PA) says that Menu does not like to see the private security personnel. Giri wants to impress - "madam does not like the police force, all VVIP s will be here, at least this kind of security is a must" Ravi still wants to know if mam knows about this arrangement and hissy says that he knows how to deal with Menu. Hissy and Giri run around (morning jogging pogaliyaa hissy??? inge running??) Hissy tells Ravi that all the slides are ready as per Menu's orders. Hissy shoots some more instructions to Giri. Asks about the press reporters. Giri says that except NN all are present. Giri says that NN refused to be picked up and did not want to occupy the hotel room booked by them. Hissy poses a stupid Q to Giri -"avar entha hotel le irukkar?" Giri smartly replies -"athaan theriyalai nnu sonnene boss!!" ( ipdi irunthaa Menaka Towers epdi Aadhi towers aagum??? neenga miss pannina, I have to miss Jenny, konjam smart aa irukka paarunga boss😳 - Giri's dialogue written by RTDW - Roja the dialogue writer!!!)

Narayan Nair is shouting at someone over the telephone , in Malayalam - "yov na kudukkarathu thaan news, maathi kithi potte ,othai vizhum, ketto" - hangs up on the other side and hands over his room key to the lodge manager -" bath room le no room freshener, make sure to replace and get my room spic and span, ok??? I am going out and will be back" - leaves. The lodge manager asks the room boy  to clean up NN's room - the boy labels NN as sidu moonji and complains about NN doing all his work by himself -" no tips for me hmmm" Lodge manager once again informs us - "avar periya reporter, all big shots wait for him to interview them, no one knows his face, only his writing"

Hissy is still busy  - running here and there - ordering around - Giri runs along ( hissy bath room ponaa kooda angeyum poiduviyaa???
Giri jalra thaan, athukku ipdiyaa??😳) Hissy projects himself as omnipotent omnipresent .... NN is getting out of an auto and bingo our old man Antony meets him - Both samsarichufying in Malayalam - Anthony says that he was asked to cover Menu's function by the editor - "last minute assignment , athanu gnayan ivvide vanthathu" NN is slightly puzzled and at a loss for words ( Rojakku doubt - NN ai yaarume recognize panna maattanga nnu pora vara aalunga ellam namba mandai le idichi idichi sonnanga!!! Anthony kku mattum NN photo epdi kidaichithi??? ennavO pOngappa , logic ellam Thols kitte kekkalaama?? Illatha vishyam lam ketta paavam avar enge povar??
Rojaaaaa thirunthave maatiyaa di nee??? 😳😳) Anthony woos NN for a cup of chaya -" oru valliya chaya kudichittu meeting pogaam?" NN succumbs ( yaar ange Roja announces an assignment for all Kolangal watchers - Nair kadai chaya kku mayangatha Mallu undengil, Rojai kitte pidichi tharaam, Rojai adutha CK ezhuthum pol aa yalai include seyyum😳) Both adjourn for chaya.

Menu arrives - Jinguchaa jinguchaa sigappu podavai jinguchaa , diamond necklace jinguchaa - jili jilu jinguchha - for once she does not have her hair loose - Beach road Kannagi statue mathiri eppovum oru thalai viri kolam, athu missing - nicely plaited long hair with malli poo.
Hissy is just short of touching her feet - "madam vaanga vaanga , u look very pretty" ( yov jollu kottu thu thodaichikko😳) Menu is used to being called beautiful and so is casual about it. Hissy makes sure that she is pleased with all the arrangements and does not forget to  impress - "intha word unga kitte irunthu varathukkaga I worked for over a week - with out food and sleep " - takes her to the dais -"all yours mam" - Menu ascends the podium amidst a limited ovation😳
( jasthi crowd vendam nnu sollittinga, illatta biriyaani pottu,lorry le kooti vanthu , 1 lac people ai clap  panna vaichuruppen - Aadhi's dialogue by RTDW) Hissy is beaming - ennavo ivar thaan Menu kku hair dress panni vitta mathiri!!!!

The house owner - Coimbatore Chitrambalam ( antha olliyaana figure kku evvalavu periya name???!!) catches Thols off guard. Goes on rattling about the thai maaman of Thols - Thols has no time for all this but the house owner shows a VCD - "Namba pappa sadangu VCD, athile unga thai maaman vizhunthu ttare hiya hiya" (sariyaan arai kirukku, but Thols kku ippo oru periya clue kudukkarathu!!) Both watch the VCD -Looks like CC does not have a VCD player at home
Makes hay while the sun shines..mandai yai mandayai aatti VCD ai enjoy panraar - Thols is impatient and finally sees his thai maaman!!!
CC is happy to introduce him to Thols and Thols recalls his previous meetings with Anthony ... In Menu's house at night..... as an iron wala.... meeting with Selvi around........ Freezes the VCD and has a good look .... Thols is confused..... does the same action .... wipes his face and head a few times...... once again recalls the old encounters....
CC is elated about stunning Thols......

May 12 Update

Menaka's Inaguration Hotel

     Thols looks in the video which his landlord shows to find who is Thols uncle. Based on that, he decides to go to the hotel where Menaka conducts her opening ceremony of the Towers she is doing. At the hotel, Menaka welcomes every guest separately. She is not able to figure out why Narayanan Nair (NN) is not there. Outside antony is with NN talking to him in Malayalam. Antony invites him to take a tea. But he does something and gets in as fake NN. Menaka welcomes Antony and asks why he is late which is not the right way for a journalist. Antony gives some excuses. He tells I am punctual but the same could not be said about Chennai traffic etc. etc. and then he talks about politics. He also tells he has her full birthchart. Finally he calls Menaka a business bride. She says that is the nickname she used to be called in USA. It could be because she is dresses properly like a typical Indian woman. During this time Thols is coming in auto. Adhi introduces Menaka as a high achiever and says Menaka herself is going to tell her secret of success. Then Menaka gets to do her speech. She tells she has done a lot because she never beleives she could not do. Also the means she takes is there because she is only focussed on the end. she also got imprinted on the success way very early in life which can be anytime for any other person. She also tells Menaka Towers is going to be the landmark place in Chennai with a good number of luxury rooms. And then she likes to show the video. The lights are off. antony thinks this is his chance and takes his pistol.  But he is not able to do anything till the lights are on. Menaka says this type of Towers could be seen all over the World. Thols meanwhile comes in and asks for permission to enter saying he wants to do an urgent air booking. That is not allowed. The sentry takes he can ring and book the ticket. Thols has to find other ways to enter the hotel. He goes to the backside of the building. In one side he finds a person being tied up. That person being NN tells what happened to him and says there is someone who is in who would be doing some mischief. NN tells him to leave him like that and do what he can. Thols somehow goes to the second floor where he is confronted by someone. he again tells something. As far the function, everyone is taking lunch. Antony is also there who again looks for taking chance to kill Menaka. Thols tries his own tactics. He finds himself in the circuit breaker area. What is he to do there? Does Antony send the bullet? Next moment we here three loud sounds of firing and we also find all the persons in the function lying down. What happened really is to be seen on May 13.

May 13 Update

The Hotel - Menaka Towers Inauguration

Continuing from Yesterday's episode, we find all of them lying down. Menaka gets up and so do others. Menaka tells two persons have died. She feels a lot for them shedding tears and saying they took care of her such that not even a speck of dust could get on her. antony runs off from that place. Thols also gets away. The ambulance comes there. Adhi talks her about the next course of action. Menaka tells whoever sopilt the function must be punished severely. Antony also goes off.

   Antony comes there dejected. he tells Veerasami that he missed Menaka by a whisker and that chance is not going to come anymore. His picture has come in video Camera. Menaka will also beef up the security around her. During a crucial moment, Thols helped her to be rescued. Thols! Who is always making my plans go wrong. Then he glances at the pictures of Menaka he has and with that the pictures of Thols. He is surprised that Chellamma has two ofsprings rather than one and one of them is male. and he guesses that the male offspring is Thols. He resolves that before menaka is killed Thols is going to be killed.

Wednesday 14/5/08 (another wasted episode hmmmmm)

Police arrives - AC Ramakrishnan and another senior official - an old man who should have retired eons back!!! - Menu is interrogated and she rolls her "Rs" as usual - " I did not see any one Sizz, lights went off and I just heard 2 shots... avvalavuthaan... I found 2 of my secuzity guazds down..." The old police officer can not fathom as to why police protection was not asked for such a VVIP gathering. Menu looks sharply at hissy who frets and says that she did not want to have the police around and embarrass every one. The old man calls the private security force chief and gives him a bit of his mind -" can't u arrange for a metal detector?? that way, the shooter could not have brought the revolver!! Ok, let me warn all the private security force people, do not accept to provide security for such gatherings in future" Giri and Hissy would have liked to hide their faces in the garbage can - unfortunately none is available. Menu has a face which says " izhu izhu hissy, unnai will see u one hand later". Now police get to know that the whole function has been covered with multi cameras. Hissy heaves a sigh -"nalla kaalam, athaiyavathu ozhunga panninen" .The recording is played and Anthony gets pinned.  The original NN is brought to the arena and he says that someone hit him and stole his invitation. NN gives his credentials and asks the police to check with the editor if they doubt him. ( paavam intha Anthony, he has not had a good relationship with cameras..first he was caught in CC's house function VCD for Thols to see and now here in the function VCD.... Roja has vested interest, he has promised to take care of Thols before accomplishing his "opeartion theerthu kattu Menu" - if he gets caught.... Roja has promised a temple and busy coining the ashthoram -

Thols comes in an auto and sees a police jeep opposite his house, tries to scoot but CC's daughters catch him -" hey look, police have come in search of u and u better come" - lead him to the house and Thols walks as if he is a sacrificial lamb to its ... u know where😳 - Finally it is the police friend of Thols - inspector Chandrasekahar along with thozhar -
Thols heaves a sigh and thozhar takes the stage with his usual chaste Tamizh. Chandrasekar gets a call informing about the attempt on Menu's life and he leaves. Thozhar says that the means employed by Menu for her success are questionable and so her enemies increase -
" today she has escaped but u never know... tomorrow some one can succeed in killing her" Thols frets hearing this and thozhar can not understand the concern Thols shows.

Chithappa and his party leader Thangaraasu - drinking together - some cronies stand behind and hear the lecture - well, they get paid for that I guess!!! Chithappu says that he was the one who found out about the threat for Menu's life -"Menu offered me millions but I refused.." goes on talking and says that his next mission is to uproot George Bush - " I oppose his arms policy.  I am getting a statement ready, enna title theriyumaa?? "gundu onnu vaichirukken". How dare he say that we eat too much of rice???"Chithappu has plans of contesting in the election for the opposite party and one of the cronies point out that the opposition leader has no plans of giving a seat to chithappu. Chithappu gets angry but Thangaraasu says that this particular crony never talks with out substance -"why dont u check with the opposition leader?" - all leave and Chithappu is angry... staring at.... 😳*chithappu, hissy has cheated u - MLA seat illai oru mannum illai - u can go and fly kite....😳)

Menu is sitting surrounded by her cronies - Hissy is all set to proove
his mettle as the ace murder modus planner - offense is the best form of defense - Hissy chides Ravi for not keeping NN under his control-"how did u let him stay by himself?? and u did not have his photo??? uh huh Ravi. Fortunately the power failed, otherwise, aww, I shudder to think of Madam's ...." Giri says that some one cut the power and saved Menu but Hissy is not ready to give credit to any one -"Giri, it is like this, this fellow had an accomplice who was supposed to cut the power as soon as the mission "theeruthu kattu Menu" is executed so that the murderer can escape. It is just that  the accomplice pulled the power down a bit too early and the shots got misfired ( believe me, I have planned so many murders and I am right!!!) Giri marvels at the acumen of his boss. Hissy informs Menu that he has asked all the newspapers all over India to flash this news in the front page -"his snap will be flashed and he will be caught. I have asked them to give the reason as business enmity but we do not know the real reason.. Ok mam, i am going to meet the commissioner..." leaves. Menu is thoughtful, never says a word (thank God, Roja is relieved to know that she need not hear Menu rolling her "R"s habba....) Menu must be thinking about Anthony and the real reason???

Aarthi at work and Krishnan is reading out some details. Viswanathan comes to meet Aarthi who is over joyed to see him. Looks like Krishnan has kept him in the loop and  half baked Aarthi expresses her expert opinion about Thols,  the villain. Vichu  negates her views and bingo..Thols comes in. Greets Vichu and looks cheerful - "ellam nalla thaan nadakkuthu, enna missing Abi.. with out her it is difficult" calls Aarthi for some meeting but she refuses to go along with Thols as
she does not know the agenda of the meeting ( aha aha bakki ellam romba theriyarathaa unakku???? Roja pities Abi, intha mathiri oru half baked sister, oru spine less brother, OQ amma,..... paavam than antha ponnu, athaan USA odittaa😳) Just then Abi calls for the US and gets to know the immediate problem facing Thols. Advices sis to blindly follow Thols and does not listen to the reasoning (??!!) Abi talks to all for a minute each and hangs up. Thols goes to bring the relevant file, Vichu advises half baked once more to listen to Thols , Krishnan
does a Naradar act -"ellarum Thols kku jalra thaan...neengalum do the same...." Asattu Aarthi fumes....

Chithappu meets hissy who is reading about Hillary/Obama poll results. Chithappu wants to know about the local election - "ennai MLA aakarennu sonne, enakku seat kuduppangalaa?" Hissy says that it
will be done and wants to know if chithappu has kept his promise -
"Arjun ai muzhu kudigaran aa aakiyacha??" Chithappu says that the missioon hissy gave is very easy -"u did not hand over a mahathma to me, only your brother.." Hissy's face changes hearing it ( appo appo chithappu sheds some pearls....😳) Chithappu says that Arjun is a 90% drunkard now. Hissy wants to see that with his own eyes and chithappu obliges -" stand away and watch,ok??" Chithappu wants to  talk to the
finance minister and so goes out ( signal ulle kidaikkatha??? hmmm
Roja knows to whom he is going to talk..😳) Giri has a pertinent doubt -
"boss intha aal minister aana public kku enna aagum?" Hissy
throws his hands up -"God knows.."

Aarthi and Thols - meeting the chief of the company for the sub-contacting project. he asks about Abi and wants to know if Aarthi is Abi's heir ( uh huh.... athu onnuthaan koraichal😳) Thols says that she is the signing authority and is in the process of learning the business.
The chief says that his project needs some special, expensive glass which will be supplied by them -Aarthi is ingenious -"I can try to source them locally" - the rest look at her like " asadu thaan, aana athai expose panname yaavathu irukka koodathaa?" Thols covers up and
asks the chief to go on. The chief says that Abi constructions should give them a deposit of 25 lacs for the glasses and once the work is done, the deposit will be returned -" your workmen should be extremely careful in handling the glass" Thols agrees but Aarthi opposes -"Abi akka has not told me any thing about this" walks out of the meeting. Thols runs behind and tries to reason out but she is adamant -" cheque na thaan sign pannanu and I wont, for this sum" walks out of the building...Thols looks lost...
