asha bhosle at Carnegie hall

last thursday. we went to see the legend asha bhosle at carnegie hall. forpeople of my generetain, that is lie pilgrimage.

it was such a pleasure to be hearing asha bhosle live once again.

i was really moved.

it is amazing to still hear her voice at age 75 years. she had nice stories to tell. a lot of praise for lata mangeshkar. which she did not do at other concerts that i had been to.

asha seems to have humbled up. nice to see her that way. she was very talkative. most of the songs speacially the faster ones were great. including dum maro dum.

then the other ones were from umrao jaan her usual songs. amit kumar was there too. some songs were great but not all.

just felt ike sharing this experience.
