Today is the first episode of Jo Jeeta wahi sikander...
Overview of the show:
This show is a competition between the Champions (Winners of the show India Idol, Saregamapa and Voice of India) and the Challengers (Those who could not make to the top in all the 3 shows)..
Host for the show:
The host for the show is Mandira Bedi... The show begins with Mandira welcoming the viewers... There is huge crowd in the audience...
The challengers come one after the other singing Deewangee Deewangee from Om shanti Om...
The challengers are:

Judges for the show:
Farah khan and Vishal Shekhar.. As the challengers enter, the judges also enter... VS make an entry by singing the song as well...
Mandira welcomes the judges and asks what do they expect from this show...
Farah Khan - New superstar will excite me and I want that they become a bigger hit than the existing super star..
Vishal - A new super star will be born from this competition... They all have been seen all over in the past two years.. Its a chance to prove...
Shekhar - In these two years, they might have done more practice and this way we can know who is the best...
Mandira asks the challengers why they chose to take part again??
Rahul Vaidya - Its a very new concept.. I am going to have fun..
Himani - We will show the champions that "Hum kisi se kam nahin"..

Now Mandira asks the champions, why do they want to compete again with the challengers?
Abhijeet: We have seen them on TV and want to prove ourselves again...
Rooprekha - Who is better than the best...
Debojit - It is a to know how much we have improved in these two years... Its not a competition with challengers but with ourselves...
Mandira then asks the champions, who is capable of winning this contest?

First challenger - Rahul Vaidya
He sings I am the best from Phir bhi dil hain hindustani...
Mandira asks Rahul, Why didnt you win... Rahul says, Its not necessary that every time the best one wins.. I was one among them who did not win...
Abhijeet - We know that Rahul has always been one of the top singer.. He was good too...

She sings Babuji zara dheere chalo (remix)
Debojit - If we look at stage performance, it was mind blowing...

Shekhar - You sang with confidence... You must maintain the sur.. Score - 8
Vishal - Im going to enjoy all you performances.. Score - 8
Farah - You must not do over performance... It should not become an irritation later that you are over doing the performance... Score - 7

He sings Dhadak Dhadak from Bunty aur Babli..
Abhijeet - I am really happy to see you again on stage... There is lot of improvement in your performance..

Farah - When you sing punjabi song, the audience will dance.. but this was not your style... Score - 6
Shekhar - You are a very good human being.. You need to work hard.. Score -6
Vishal - This is not your style of song, but a singer is one who should sing every type of song... Score - 6
Next Challenger: Priyani
She sings Khallas...
Rooprekha - I felt she was very loud... Personally, Im not liking it..
Shekhar - You have to work very hard to become superstar.. Score - 6
Farah - You did not do well in high pitch... It was hurting my ears.. Score - 5
Vishal - It was loud.. But I appreciate the energy.. Score - 6

Abhijeet - if there is some singer who is trained, then its Amit... But today it wasnt his day...

Shekhar - Have you stopped your riyaz? Amit replies, No because Shekhar - I did not like the performance.. Score - 6
Farah - Just get out of it and come back next time... Score - 6
Vishal - It happens with every singer on stage... So, just buck up and dont think much about it... Score - 6
Next Challenger: Prajakta Shukre
She sings Aaj ki raat from Don...
Ujjaini - Her name
Vishal - you were unbelievably good... Score - 10 (I wish there was 11)
Farah - Unbelievably good... This is the first time I am hearing a sensual song in your voice... You were very good... Best performance till date.. Score - 9
Shekhar - Concentrate on your low notes.. Unbelievable performance.. Score -9
Next Challenger is Vineet Singh...
He sings Aashique hoon main from Badshah
Debojit - It was a flat start by him...
Farah - I am a very big fan of yours... But you are a much capable singer.. Score - 8
Shekhar - You have a very original voice.. Sur wise, there was one or two mistakes... Score-9
Vishal - This is the first time I am hearing you, loved your performance.. Score-8
Next Challenger is Sumitra Iyer
She sings Aa dekhe zara kismein kitna hain dum...
Rooprekha - She sang well.. The expression was not coming in the song... Her attitude was more...
Vishal says the attitude is needed for this song... He sings two lines in RD Burman style and counters Rooprekha...
Vishal - Score - 4
Farah - It needs more attitude in the song... Score - 4
Shekhar - Dont leave the Sur... Concentrate on that... Score - 5
Next Challenger: Toshi
He sings Omkara title song...
Ishmeet - He has the quality of Ustaad.. I am happy that he is safe and fine now and is amongst us...
Judges Comments:
Shekhar - Very nice performance... You were very good in high notes.. In low notes your sur was not perfect... Score - 9
Farah - I had goosing bumps... Score - 9
Vishal - I have lot of expectations from you... Score - 8

Now, one challenger who are in top three will compete with the champions tomorrow... But the challenger will be selected by the champions themselves.. They cast their votes.. But who it will be?????? This will be known only tomorrow... 😉
