According to our sources, the Sony TV controversial serial Amber Dhara is to be taken off the air from April 25th.

However, Sanjay Upadhyay, creative director for the channel, denies this, "We have asked the creative team to restructure the plot. We can't wait indefinitely for it to pick up."

The producer for the conjoined twins' saga, Vikas Seth, meanwhile, claims ignorance about the recent developments. But actor Ali Merchant doesn't sound surprised at the news. "Some of the tracks were stretched beyond necessary," he says.

It is believed that during the surgery to separate the conjoined twins, both will die… hence the serial will come to a close.

Sad. This show is brillant. Genuine show, but too unique for the market so that is why it is probably ending.

none of the serials seem to last there...mostly all their serials go off air due to low trps or whatever

i watched it and they didnt die...they got seperated and amber didnt even die and after the operation episode right now its april 24th.....
