City is all spruced up...not only for the forthcoming third Test match between India and South Africa at the Green Park stadium on April 11, but even for the stars who will make their presence felt here. SRK seemed to have forgotten and forgiven the cricket authorities for accusing him of promoting his Om Shanti Om when he reached Brabourne cricket grounds to watch the India-Australia match. For once more, SRK has agreed to be a part of the India-SA match in the city and will come accompanied with his li'l one Aryan. And if this was not enough, it definitely can't get bigger with the Bachchan family including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya expected in the audience too. However, authorities confirmed, "It's still a li'l tentative about Amitabh Bachchan, but we are sure to have Abhiash for the match." So well, with the match going to be a real star-studded affair, the administration is sure not taking any chance on the security front. Confirms, city DM Anil Kumar Sagar: "It's for the first time that Shah Rukh, Abhishek and Aishwarya will be visiting our town and therefore, we are not compromising on any front where security is concerned. The detailed security plan has been chalked out and everything from the buildings around the stadium to the surrounding roads will be kept under high vigilance. All routes leading to stadium will have barricading in three tiers. First barricading will be one kilometre away from the stadium, while second barricading will be at a distance of 500 meters and the third one at the entry points." He adds, "Also, a message will be sent out a few days prior to the match that no spectator should be wearing anything in black or carry any kind of glassware. Passes will be allotted to only those media persons who have proper identity proofs." SP Traffic Ram Lal Verma adds, "We are aware of the huge rush that'd be there because of the presence of these stars causing a mad traffic rush. To keep that in control, we've arranged for an hour-long traffic diversion, when cricketers and the stars set out for the stadium, the traffic gets diverted. Even the VIP cars will not be allowed to enter the high security zone, without permission." While at hotel, where these stars would be putting up along with the cricketers, Vinay Dheer, General Manager of the hotel says, "To ensure a proper stay, special delegations of chefs from Mumbai are coming to provide the exquisite cuisines to both the teams and the stars. Besides, for as as long as the celebs will be here, the hotel will be a no entry zone for all. Plus, to maintain security, the entire hotel staff will be allotted with identity proof."
