No DK in the last episode (sobs) but still an interesting episode…and finally the story moves forward. I am giving a very succinct update this time…please don't mind guys!
Basically in this episode, Disha warns her Uncle, Anil to hand over the share of business and property to Suhas and Ranu, and Anil is petrified at the thought of Disha interfering in their matter but is unable to do anything about it as Disha is also the legal heir of Vijendra and hence she has every right to make decisions regarding the Company. The spineless chicken that Anil is, calls up Sukanya and tells her of the situation who says that she will set Disha right very soon.
Disha warms up to the "Charms" of Vedant who flirts in the most abominable manner with her and addresses her as "Dish", much to the resentment of Inder who drops in at the Office (the Khosla's are also co-owners of "Diamond's Forever") to help out Disha but is very upset at seeing her getting pally with Vedant who has joined as a Consultant to help out the sinking ship of their Company. Disha realizes that Vedant is not all that bad as he seems and both of them seem to get along very well!
In the next scene Dev and Gargi get into a skirmish and Dev (I love this guy!) tells Gargi that his loyalty lies to DK and not to her and that he will never leave DK and will not let anyone (read Gargi) harm him as long as Dev is alive. Gargi is frustrated with him but is unable to do anything about it. Sukanya drops in to meet Gargi and in between their bitching session, Sukanya bumps into Dev and recognizes him as their old servant and Disha's actual father. Dev is very fearful at realizing that Sukanya will now use this knowledge to further the rift between DK and Disha. Sukanya withholds the truth from Gargi at the moment but resolves in her mind that she will let the Cat out of the Bag very soon and wonders gleefully how DK will react at the thought of knowing that his Wife happens to be his Servant's daughter.
In the next scene Gargi is shown to be in a meeting with a mysterious guy in a restaurant, the guy's face is not shown, but his mannerisms and voice is very akin to Vedant's. This guy is apparently Gargi's lover by the way they both hold hands and behave. Gargi bitches to her boyfriend that she is unable to harm DK in anyway because of Disha and Dev's presence. Gargi then says that she had completely underestimated Disha and that she has managed to tame even a Tiger like DK in front of whom no one has the guts to stand, but DK is unable to go against Disha in anyway. The boyfriend tells Gargi that he can remove both Dev and Disha from her way, to which Gargi immediately reacts negatively and tells him that she has a sneaking suspicion that, DK is in love with Disha and if anything happens to her, his first suspect will be Gargi and he will not leave her for that. Gargi then says in an underhanded style that they have to do something so twisted that it should split both DK and Disha apart at the same time, so that neither of them is able to save the other from destruction. Just then Sukanya rings up Gargi and discloses the fact that Dev is Disha's father, and Gargi is unable to believe her good luck at getting this valuable information and tells her boyfriend that they have got the perfect opportunity to remove Disha and Dev permanently from Kanaka house and from DK's life.
Disha decides that no matter how much Suhas thinks she hates Disha, she will never forget her duty as a daughter and will do everything she can to save Suhas from the greedy clutches of Anil and Sukanya. Disha goes to Bhosale house and in a very emotional scene tells her Aai, that her life is indebted to Vijendera and Suhas and that she can never cut this bond from them. Suhas, who at first is cold and discourteous to Disha, gets very poignant when Disha says that she will always be their daughter till the day she dies and that she can never ignore her Mother in the time of her need. Just then Sukanya comes and taunts both Suhas and Disha to which both of them come out supporting each other. Disha shouts on Sukanya and tells her that as long as she is there, no one can harm either Suhas or Ranu nor can anyone take away what is rightfully theirs. Sukanya smiles evilly and says that Disha herself is harboring a criminal in her house who was responsible for dousing the light of this house and is now pretending to be all moralistic and goody-goody in front of Suhas. Disha is perplexed and at that very moment, Suhas realizes that Disha is actually unaware of the fact that Dev is her Father, before Suhas can stop Sukanya, she tells a staggered and shell-shocked Disha that Dev is her real Father.
My thoughts on the future of Tumhari Disha:
- Vedant is DK's real brother who stays with their Mother…as indicated before in the serial, DK's mom is alive and the fact that Gargi mentioned DK as being the elder son of the Sehgal Family point towards the fact that he had / has a younger brother.
- DK will probably go ballistic on knowing that Dev is Disha's father and that will become the reason for their divorce as he will suspect both Father and Daughter of being hand in hand in a plan to destroy DK.
- When Dev and Disha are out of the way, Gargi, her boyfriend and Taj will set about destroying DK.
- Vedant meanwhile will get to know of his relation with DK and DK will get over his misunderstanding of Dev and Disha and then all of them will become a team and fight back the evil forces!
- Meanwhile Vijendra will come back from the dead, Suhas would have already gotten over her misunderstanding of Disha and she will be reunited with the Bhoslae parivar with Dev in tow!
- Meanwhile in this melee, Disha and DK will realize that they are made for each other and that for their sake and the viewer's, they should get together in the end.
- Inder will make-out with Ranu (winks) and she will get Pregnant or something, and then Inder will realize that now he has no way out and has to live with her happily ever after.
- Disha will find a pretty wife for her Bro-in-law, Vedant and then the Sehgal Family will be complete with senior (original) Mrs. Sehgal, DK and Disha, Vedant and his Wife……Dev might also chip in to complete the family potrait!
