At the lawyer's office, Purab calls out to Armaan. Armaan turns and looks at Purab with a perplexed look on his face. Purab tells him that he (Purab) wants to ask him (Armaan) a personal question. Armaan asks him to go ahead and ask the question. Purab asks about the lawyer, since this is the first time he will be dealing with Mr. NIKHIL Desai (Lawyer). Armaan tells him the lawyer is fine.
Purab goes to meet the lawyer. Purab tells the lawyer that he is interested in taking over one fashion house, and wanted to have all information about this company. The lawyer picks up is writing pad, and asks him the company.
The lawyer is shocked when Purab says Gulmohor. He tells Purab that he cannot do such a thing. Purab misunderstands; he tells the lawyer that he is not asking him to anything illegal. He just wanted the lawyer to do background check on the company. The lawyer tells him, he cannot do it as he is representing Gulmohor. Hearing this Purab thinks that Gulmohor is definitely having some legal problems.
At IFH office, Jassi is very apprehensive before signing the contract for IFH. She remembers Armaan being nice to her at Gulmohor and her house when he came for dinner. She thinks about all the good times at Gulmohor. Then, she remembers the bad times, when Armaan accuses her about employing all her family members at Kohinoor, so that she could take over Kohinoor. She also remembers how Armaan was adamant about throwing Nandu from Kohinoor. Last, she remembers her words to Armaan, that she will not remove Nandu, but she will quit. She signs the contract, and Hansmukhi gives a sigh of relieve.
Hansmukhi welcomes her on board.
At Gulmohor, in Armaan's office, Raj tells an over-confident Armaan that this Walia's family friend has usurped Nandu's position in Jassi's life and could prove fatal for them. Armaan is confident that his "langotiyaa yaar "
(Diaper friend) billoo uncle will get Jassi back to them. Raj is not convinced.
At Jassi's home, AMRIT and Billo are having debate about Jassi's job. AMRIT wants Billo to let Jassi decide for herself whether she wants to stay at Gulmohor or take the new job offer (IFH). Billo wants Jassi to continue with Gulmohor. Jassi enters her, she looks relieved about finalizing her job with IFH, but Billo is not so happy. Billo feels that Armaan and Gulmohor need Jassi now and he reasons with her that one should help those in need. He says he is sorry about forcing her to leave Gulmohor earlier, now he wants her to continue with Gulmohor. He reminds her that she has reached this stage in her career all because of Gulmohor. She tells him that she in turn has done a lot for Gulmohor. Billo tells her that he has promised Armaan that she will continue with Gulmohor. She is surprised and looks disturbed.
She tells him that she has promised Hansmukhi that she will be taking her job offer. Billo looks upset.
Rohan calls Jassi. From their conversation, he realizes that Jassi is upset.
He calls Purab immediately and tells him to go cheer Jassi.
Meanwhile, at the same time, Mallika is calling Jassi number. She is irritated that no one was answering the call (Jassi is talking with Rohan).
Aryan comes and asks her why she is concerned about Jassi. Mallika retorts that though Jassi has quit, she should report on time while she is still working with Gulmohor. Aryan gives her one of his sinister smiles. He tells her that it is a good thing that Jassi is quitting. Now, Armaan will not be able to hide about things happening in Gulmohor. Mallika looks thoughtful.
Jassi is discussing her present dilemma with Nandu, i.e. about Billo wanting her to continue with Gulmohor, whereas she has already committed to IFH.
Purab comes and teases her bit to lighten her mood. Nandu is not happy to see Purab. Purab persuades Jassi to go along with him for ice cream. Jassi asks Nandu to go along with them. While they are in the Auto, Purab finds out the reason for Jassi's unhappiness. Purab promises her a job that'll be her dream job. Nandu feels left out from their conversation. Twice he tries to get into the conversation, but is not successful. This makes him angry and he walks out of the ice cream parlor…giving the excuse that it is too hot in there.
Raj and Armaan are sitting contented in their office when Jassi walks in.
Armaan is very thrilled to see her…he looks pleased and has a look that says 'yes, I have won'. Both Armaan and Raj start talking about being glad she is
back and stuff. Jassi tells them that her dad spoke with her. She tells
them, that there is growth and success in Gulmohor. They both look on happily. Then she adds that she can get the same at IFH also. She tells them that she is quitting to join IFH. She adds that she does not want her name associated with Kohinoor so would they please take the steps to remove her name from it. She adds that she cam to Gulmohor to take her personal belongings. Armaan and Raj are shocked. When she goes to her room, both wonder who is supporting her financially.
Aryan and Purab meet over a drink where Aryan tells Purab that they can terminate most of the Gulmohor employee's employment after the take over, except one employee. He says the chairman's assistant is very good with her work. Purab asks the name. Aryan says 'Jasmeet Walia', and adds that she is known as Jassi. He says that they should give her a very good offer to retain her. Purab is wonder struck when he heard that Jassi is/was working for Gulmohor. The company he is planning to takeover.
Maria calls on Armaan's extension. Raj answers it. Maria tells him that a supplier wants to speak with Jassi. Raj gets a suspicious look on her face.
He tells her to put the call through. The caller is Purab. Raj asks his name. Purab tells him Jassi knows him. Raj covers the mouthpiece and tells Armaan that they will learn something important very soon. Jassi walks out from her cabin with a box full of her personal belongings. Raj tells her that there is call for her. She takes the phone and is surprised to hear Purab on the other line. He asks her if she can meet him immediately. She asks Armaan whether she can leave. Armaan just gives her an angry look. She tells Purab yes, she can meet him and leaves. Raj tells Armaan that they should follow Jassi and find out about this person she is meeting.
Raj and Armaan follow Jassi to a restaurant. A limo arrives and Purab emerges from it. He takes jassi by arm and they go inside the restaurant.
Armaan and Raj is amazed, Armaan looks angry too…
