Episode begins with IT finally happening. JW and Bani finally face to face. The meeting was explosive(but onesided). He sees Bani standing outside getting drenched in the rain. He walks up to her and sees her shivering with cold. He calls for a shawl from the guard and asks her if she's feeling cold. He then callously tosses the shawl to the ground. Bani rears back at his deliberate cruelty and the shock of finally witnessiong the change in him makes her fall to the ground at his feet. JW tells her that he still believes that he does not like people falling at his feet. Her hand is grazed and muddied and JW holds out his handkerchief to her Bani takes it and he tells her that many years ago on a rainy night like this when there was a party on, Bani had come to him for shelter and help. He grabs her by her arms and pulls her up. Karuna sees Jai holding Bani and faints. JW tells Bani that years ago I'd helped but now what will I do? He flings her away and Bani falls again. He tells her that he's hell bent on ruining her, the JW she knew is stone now with no feelings, the only driving force in his life is revenge, after all he has stayed alive only to level the score between them. He tells Bani that if he has stayed alive it is only because Bani was alive. In the past 5 years he's reached the pinnacle of success, ruined many including her boyfriend, but still was never satisfied. Coz now he has realized that his joys are linked with her. He wants to torture her, to humiliate her, to see her unhappy and grovelling. But to do so he knew he had to bring her in his control and that is why he put out the word that no one was to give her a job in the city. The only person who will now give her work is JW himself and he wants her to work for him so that she will be in his control and he can yank her around and torture her as he pleases. Bani refuses and JW tells her that he knew she'd refuse. He then tells her that he's aware that she has a daughter with Daksh, he knows she's jobless, penniless and broke. He reminds her that she 's got what she wanted after the death of her kids, her boyfriend and a child by him whom she loves a lot. Not for herself, not for Daksh, but for her daughter who Bani will not let suffer Bani should take up the job. She has no options, after all she'll be constantly tortured but she will at least be able to survive. He hands over a card to her and tells her to arrive at the address on the card the next day for her first assignment. Karuna overhears the job offer pinches herself to bring herself back to reality and faints again. JW leaves.
The party is on in full swing but the music stops as JW comes in smirking. JW looks around at all the surprised faces and tells everyone that he's very happy and wants the party to carry on all night. Jigs wonders what has made JW so happy and Karuna comes, drags her aside and spills the beans. Jigz is furious that once again her mehnat of so many years will be threatened. Karuna holds up a bottle of poison and tells her that she has a plan for the two of them to consume poison and blame Bani in their suicide note. That way Bani will go to jail. Jigz tells her that she has no intelligence only a made up face.
Bani is walking through the rain reliving JW's venomous words as Tere Naam plays in the background. Ganga is worried whether she'll be able to attend school the next day, she's worried that her mother is as yet not home. Bani comes in looking shattered and gives a flimsy excuse that she missed her bus. Ganga leaves to get a towel and Maasi senses that a huge storm is waiting to break on them.
At WM JW is nursing a drink. Suna Suna plays in the background as he remembers JB moments, 19th June, their honeymoon in Dubai/ snowy place, their temple wedding… then he thinks of the time he got to know of her infidelity and threw her out. Jigz and Karuna come and Jigz asks him what wrong she's done that JW has not confided in her, that he's met Bani and offered her a job in his hotel. She asks him why he wants to expose himself once again to all the pain Bani's given him, she has witnessed the change in him. Karuna keeps echoing her words till Jigz tells her to keep quiet. JW says that Bani no longer makes any difference to me, but her happiness matters. Jigz is shocked to hear that Bani's happiness still matters to him. But JW tells her that he wants to strip Bani of all her happiness. She'll work as an ordinary waitress in his hotel, wiping tables, washing utensils and he wants her to realize that there was a time when all of it was hers. She won't get any praise or advice, all her faults will be punished and she will only be insulted and humiliated. He tells Jigz to butt out and that his decision is final. Jigz tells him that whatever he decides she will support him. As they leave Karuna tells Jigz that she's relieved that JW still hates Bani. But Jigz tells her that both JB hate each other coz hatred only exists where love does. In the guise of revenge once again the embers of the JB relationship will be fanned to life. The relationship between them should have died out by now. She has put in a lot of hard work into creating this Sone ka Lanka and will not let it go to waste. She will ensure that the hatred between JB is always alive and will not let Bani come in front of JW, she will not let the hatred turn to love.
- The JB scene was intense. RK rocked and PD's expression of disbelief and shock was great.
- Whatever happened to 'I just want to meet her once". Naughty naughty JW, thinking of all the honeymoons and saying something else.
