Weekly Newsletter : Happy Halloween

    Halloween, or Hallowe'en, is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. Traditional activities include trick-or-treating, Halloween festivals, and bonfires, costume parties, visiting "haunted houses" and viewing horror films. Halloween originated from the Pagan festival Samhain, celebrated among the Celts of Ireland and Great Britain. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries embraced the holiday in the late twentieth century. Halloween is now celebrated in several parts of the western world, most commonly in Ireland, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom.

    All-hallow-even, as it is the eve of "All Hallows' Day", also which is now known as All Saints' Day. Many European cultural traditions, in particular Celtic cultures, hold that Halloween is one of the liminal times of the year when spirits can make contact with the physical world, and when magic is most potent.

Saat Phere: The blackmailer tells Saloni that she will always have this bodyguard beside her, Shibu who will give her further msgs on what she will be doing. The blackmailer than sens Saloni a letter which says that in the next 7 days, she must break her 7 vows, her Saat Phere. Saloni is shocked.

Ghar ki Laxmi Betiyaan: Kajri hires ppl to kidnap Menka who's taken to the kotha but she manages to escape to Kshitij's house. Saraswati sends Durga-Gauri to live with Karan-Laxmi. Karan promotes Surya as the finance manager, thus moving a step forward in his revenge.

Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai: The Thakral family try to find ways to come up with 500 crores. Gyan sells his house for his mother's surgery and decides to move into a chawl. Siddhi refuses to live in a chawl which angers Gyan and he leaves Siddhi for his parents.

Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai: Sadhna is devastated with her father's death. Her father's relatives come to take her away to Udaipur, but with the intention of getting her money.. but Sadhna is reluctant to part away from Ragini and vica versa.

Amul Star Voice of India: Shahid Kapoor was on the show to promote his new film Jab We Met... All girls are out of the show with the elimination of Priyani last week... The show had the Kawaali round this week with some good performances by the contestants and Ustad Amjad Ali and Pankaj Udhas as the guests...

Naaginn: Amrita stays with Panditjee as a young girl. Panditjee loves her allot. Vishu exposes the Mani and adds Power to it at night of Amavasya. Baba encourages Rudra to do wrong. Rudra gives all his his friend chavi or neckless that wil protect them from Nagin and Amrita feels restless. But Vishakha maasi tells her to stay in Mandir only.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: Bhoomi tries to expose that Tanya is pretending to be blind. Trupti aks Nakul to break his relationship with Sanchi. Nandini decides to leave Shantiniketan but Tanya stops her. Trupti again forces Sahil to sign the deal and convinces him.

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar... and the coffee...

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
"I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things. Your family, your children, your faith, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions. Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter. Your job, your house, and your car.
The sand is everything else. The small stuff.
If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18.
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."
