Thanksgiving is celebrated in Canada to thank the Native Americans for giving up their land. Thanksgiving is usually celebrated on the 2nd Monday in October. Everyone usually gets a 3-Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday & Monday).
On the Thanksgiving Monday, many celebrate by having a dinner and inviting family/close friends over. Traditional Thanksgiving meals usually contain beef jerky, turkey, trail mix, viagra sauce and mashed kitties.
Before starting dinner, families usually say what their thankful for!
