The episode starts with Jigyasa going to give the bride shagun but Maasi stops her and tells her that the shagun is given by the daughter-in-law of the family and not the daughter hence Bani should do the rituals. Jigyasa says that Bani isn't the only daughter in law and if that's the case, Rano and Raashi should also be a part of this. Maasi agree's and they do the ceremony. Maasi then tells Bani to hand over the plate of goods to Arushi which she does.
Jai asks the other family where the oldest brother is to which he gets the answer that though every ceremony is done with him being in attendance and only his blessings, today he couldn't be a part of this. The ring ceremony starts and the rings are exchanged. The camera through out the ceremony moves from the couple to Purvi and back again.
The song Dholi Taro Dhol Baje from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starts and people are dancing and having a gala time. Purvi unable to see all this runs upstairs…Arushi feels nauseous and goes up herself. Seeing this as a perfect opportunity Nachiket also proceeds up. Arushi is in the bathroom, vomiting. She tells herself that the marriage should take place soon because if any one comes to know that she is pregnant she wont have anything to do but kill herself.
Purvi and Nachiket are in the room together where Nachiket tells her he is sorry that he has to do this but he has no choice. She tells him that he shouldn't ask for forgiveness because what he has done for the family has only raised him in her eyes. They both have tears in their eyes and are in an embrace. Down Kaka is wondering where Nachiket is and when he asks Aditya about it he is told Nachiket is upstairs. He goes to call them and in the way bangs into Arushi who says that she had just come upstairs to freshen up. He slowly proceeds over to the room Nachiket and Purvi are in but as luck would have it they realized and the minute he opens the door, Purvi is behind the door while Nachiket on the phone. He says that he had an urgent call and because of the noise he had to come up. Kaka agrees but asks Nachiket to come down right away. As they are leaving the room, Nachiket's watch gets entangled with Purvi's sari palu. They have eye contact and Purvi free's her palu.
Below an announcement about the two families collaborating for business is being made and the media is asking the bride's family whether this is a marriage or a business deal to which they say that once you are tied by relationships everything is one. When Jai is asked the same question he says he is just grateful to the bride's family for having faith in Jai Walia and the Walia group of Industries that is in a crisis now. He said this has given them a chance to prove themselves once again.
While leaving the bride's family tells them that now that they are in laws they have to be together in good times as well as bad. Kaka tells Jai that five years ago they lost their son and tomorrow is their shrad so they would want Jai and everyone else to come. Jai readily agrees. When Arushi asks Nachiket the same thing he says he would try. Before leaving he looks up at Purvi and both of them are teary eyed.
Nachiket is sitting in solitude and thinking about how he has sacrificed his love and is all wet eyed. Bani enters and he quickly wipes his tears. Bani tells him that he can wipe the tears but can't hide the pain. She says that the family will always be grateful to him for what he has done and the girl must love him a lot since she let him sacrifice their love for his family. Bani tells him that it isn't too late and if he wants he can still get her. He says he isn't so weak and it's just some memories he has which are hard to let go. Bani expresses her desire to meet the girl but he clearly refuses saying it was his past and that topic is now closed. Bani a tad bit disappointed leaves and Nachiket tells himself that he is sorry for not introducing them but no one can ever know who the girl was.
Jai and Bani are in the car going somewhere when Bani asks him where they were going. He tells her they are going to the temple. She is surprised since he never goes to the temple and has gone only about 3 times. He tells her that this is the same temple they got married at and since everything is looking good now he wanted them to go there. They enter the temple hand in hand and pray. Bani prays for Nachiket and his happiness. Jai and Bani go to the tree and tie a thread around it.
At the same time, Daksh's parents are praying for his recovery and he runs away. They manage to catch hold of him and he is asking them to leave him. His father tells them that Daksh is getting his attack again and he has to be taken to the hospital. They are taking him to the hospital while he is staring at Bani while she takes the rounds of the mandir with Jai.
Episode ends on Bani's face.
