After watching Saturday's episode ...and particularly watching Harshit forgetting lyrics not once but thrice ... one thought came to my mind ...and this happened earlier also when Abhilasha did the same thing .. that if this is a singing competition thenm why they dont allow the singers to carry lyrics with them . After all this is singing competition ....not memory testing . and we all know that the most difficult songs which these participants sings in just one go ....for that ..these professional singers take so many takes and retakes and with lyrics with them always by their side .**********

My POV is that as far as singing is concerned it should be allowed , b coz these participants are so young that they tend to get nervous sometimes and they do such mistakes which will cost them too much . And i think that Abhas elimination is enough for anyone to be nervous and confused , who despite being a brilliant singer ... has to go .. because it has now became a game of sentimental voting.

I pray people think abt Harshit's singing and vote for him ... his first mistake should not become his last .

what are your views regarding this ...

This is one question which can be answered keeping different POV's in mind.

The way the contestants are performing its sumwht like a live performance...and a continuous one....and if they dont remember the lyrix it will effect their performance as in the sur and all. So it important to remember lyrix...!!!

But....if they have den put in front of them...so in case they forget sth...they can catch up quickly...tht will be beneficial too.. 😊

There can always be two views on this. because they are looking for playback singers in the show (hopefully though performances being given does not match to this view) they can always allow carrying lyrics.

But there can be another view too. this is a contest or u can say like an exam. Even in examination u can say how about me carrying a calculator when thats what i would be provided always when i do my job. same here....majority expect that u are giving a performance in a contest so come fully prepared. be it with riyaaz or learning of lyrics.

and dnt worry, one bad performance may not eliminate him. when did good or bad performance mattered in this show for elimination? if that had been the case then we would never hv lost all the good ones. only remaining now is Abhilasha and Harshid.

In C2005, Debo had lyrics in front of him when he sang na to karavan ki talaash. I think they would allow it if the contestant requests it beforehand.

I like Barnali ji's analogy of comparing the show to an examination. In daily jobs, you have text books, Internet, colleagues and other resources. But when you're studying and take an exam, you're expected to know the material by heart or well enough to answer the questions. When they are playback singing, they will have chances to do retakes. But if they sing a song in one take (like I believe Karunya did with his LRM song) its definitely a plus point.

I don't think Harshit will be eliminated next. I think people will sympathize with him and understand thats its his first time forgetting lyrics.
