John to join SRK in Hirani's next?

The fact that Shah Rukh is doing Rajkumar Hirani's next is known. However, industry sources reveal that John Abraham too is in talks with Hirani for a role in the film.

It is also learnt that Hirani's much guarded project is some what inspired from Chetan Bhagat's popular book, Five Point Someone — What Not To Do at IIT. The story revolves around three friends Ryan, Hari and Alok and their struggle to cope up with the way of life in the campus.

A source working closely on the film reveals, "It isn't a perfect adaptation of the book, but Hirani has read Five Point Someone and was quite impressed by the narration and the story-telling. He was most interested in the way Bhagat developed his characters in the book."

Besides SRK, Hirani hasn't confirmed anyone, but sources says that John is in talks with him.

Apparently, John and Shah Rukh hit it off really well during the making of their latest TV commercial, and are quite keen on working with each other.

Hirani has apparently been toying with the idea of making a film on the education system even before he started the Munnabhai series.

While Hirani has yet to make an official announcement, his team is busy working on making the script ready.The film is expected for a summer 2008 release.

awesome! I've seen SRK & John working together in a commercial I think they were hilarious. It'll be great to see 'em working together in a movie.
