Muzammil is a powerhouse of talent
There were three youngsters who made their big screen debut this weekend - Muzammil Ibrahim [DHOKHA], Prashant Raj [RAM GOPAL VARMA KI AAG] and Sonia Vinod Mehra [VICTORIA NO. 203]. Of the three youngsters, it is Muzammil who has made the maximum impact though Prashant also shows promise. As of Sonia, she was decent only in patches and would have to polish her skills even further.
Prashant is good in most part of the limited screen time that he gets in AAG though one wishes his character was better sketched out in the film. He has a good screen presence due to his tall frame and confident facial expressions hence making him a suitable candidate for action films. As for comedy, he has a long way to go before he would be able to perfect his art.
On the other hand Muzammil comes across as a powerhouse of talent who would surely stay on for many more years to come. Enacting his complex role with utmost maturity and confidence, he gives an excellent account of itself in his very first film.
A talent waiting to be explored even further, he gives a resource-starved industry some food for thought. A natural in front of the camera, he does a lot with his eyes while his body language too doesn't deceive him at all. With right expressions for each of the scenes, he impresses throughout the length of the film.
This young boy is indeed a star-actor in the making and one has to thank the Bhatts for supporting him throughout and bringing a new face on the celluloid!
