Tomorrow is Raksha Bandhan. A sacred day when brothers take an oath to protect sisters from any crisis in life. Not just that, but the festival celebrates the special 'bhai behen ka atoot rishta.'
A brother is someone who stands by you, buys you gifts, pampers you and protects from the wicked world. But what happens when you don't have a real brother?
Well, then you fall back on others whom you trust and bond. Sonal Miglani spoke to a few of our leading ladies from tellydom who have found their brothers on the sets.
Smita Bansal- Ali Asgar
I met him seven years back on the set of Itihaas on Doordarshan. We both share a great rapport. This year I'll meet him early in the morning as rest of the day he'll be busy shooting. Two years back, he got me a painting from a exhibition and this year he has promised to give me gold jewellery.
I make sure that Ali becomes one kangaal on this day. But, frankly, I don't believe in the concept of Raksha Bandhan as he takes good care of me all 365 days.
