| Amitabh Bachchan flanked by visually challenged contestants |
Amitabh Bachchan, participated in the special episode of Antakshri for the visually challenged participants. The superstar recited Khalid Hashmi's poem 'Main prakash hoon, ajar amar andhakar ek nirav gunjan' for the children. The poem's theme is that being blind is not a drawback.
Two visually challenged girls, Mansi and Mamta, from Smt. Kamla Mehta Dadar School for the Blind, presented a letter written by them for Amitabh Uncle. The letter had a special message for Mr. Bachchan and his ailing mother, Mrs Teji Bachchan who they wished a speedy recovery.Mr. Bachchan also wished and cheered the participants from Muncherjee Nowrowjee Banajee Industrial Home for the Blind.
Zee TV's Antakshari has devoted a six-part mini series for socially deprived sections of the society that includes the old age homes, street children and visually challenged people. The series is called as Music For A Cause.
