Rakhi's skirt catches fire during shoot

Actress Rakhi Sawant had a miraculous escape recently while shooting for the title song of Budha Mil Gaya in Hyderabad. The actress almost burnt her derriere during a sequence which required her to dance around a funeral pyre.

Apparently while Rakhi was busy making her moves around the funeral pyre, a ball of fire emerged from the pyre and struck her on her butt, reducing her skirt to ashes. The other actors and crew members panicked but the actress miraculously escaped without sustaining any burns. Director Rahul Rawail is looking into how the accident happened as that particular pyre was not supposed to be lit. The song was being shot at a graveyard dotted with pyres. The one that served as Rakhi's dance platform was not supposed to be lit. later it was discovered that one of the workers at the graveyard had switched on the pyre by mistake. As for Rakhi, she was not affected by the accident. She merely changed her costume and resumed shooting. That's Rakhi Sawant for you!
