WHAT's GOING ON? Kamya Punjabi |
There seems to be no end to Kamya Punjabi's problems. Although the TV actress sorted out her passport problems as reported 'Kamya's plans go off-route (HiTLIST, June 5) and flew to Singapore for the shoot of Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann (Zee), her right hand was injured while shooting at Jeevan Mills, Sakinaka. This happened just a day beforeshe was to fly to Singapore.
Hard hit
Kamya was supposed to hit the glass window of a car (Mitsubishi Lancer) with her hand. She hit it so hard that it not only broke the glass but also injured her hand. A doctor was called on the sets immediately. "My hand was bleeding so much that my entire saree got soaked in blood," she says.
Carried away
Why did she do such a scene? "Actually, someone else was supposed to break the window with a rod. The person would have hit the rod from a point, which was out of the frame. He did that, but I guess I got carried away and unnecessarily hit the glass hard," Kamya says.
Helpless
"I don't know how I'll shoot in Singapore. I guess they'll shoot in such a way that my hand is not visible. I am having lot of pain but work is work. I have to go," she adds.
The lead pair of Dulhann Sharad Malhotra and Divyankar Tripathi left for the shoot earlier. Kamya began shooting in Singapore since last evening
