I think jai's grown beard is the indication about his new look in KSBKBT. In all Ekta's shows when character goes for new role, either they grow beard or if they have beard, they start shaving.

Though I must say jai looks totally DEVDAS. Completely DHUKHI ATMA!

He has today look of LEAVE ME ALONE. He doesn't care wife sits next to him or girlfriend(?) next to him.

I am sure if RAM reads this post, He is going to scream LEAVE ME ALONE!

The reason for the stubble is because in a couple of weeks he will need to potray devdas role since Bani will leave with the kids if the article is to be believed.

Actually I think they're (or he is preparing) for the time when he will "break" and loose everything. Isn't this the typical Devdas look? According to the article that should be happening either today or early next week, so he needs to grow the stubble a bit more to look the desperately lost soul he is going to be...
