*BAAL KI KHAAL* Analysis
I liked the scene where Abhi picks the gun and keeps it back and then finally shoots it. The flashbacks start, the anguish of loosing, the spirit to fight and win. The initial hesitation to pick up the gun & shoot after thinking he seeks motivation from music. Alekh does give a disappointing look when he sees Abhi in a dilemma. He wants him to win to do it for his own sake. I think somewhere Alekh relates this to his own life's experience where he was disheartened, beaten and subjugated. His travails of life in overcoming the adversities and live through it all.
I didn't like the twist of the neck and found it out of place😆. But the scene from taking the aim and pulling the trigger was well shot👏. Once he had played the music (seems they are showing it as his strength, the source of his energy, his solace😛) he was calmed and knew he could do it. It was simply doing it now. No roadblocks. After accomplishing he was relieved from within and didn't want words to say so. It was his internal fight and he had to win it to strengthen his belief in his own self and perhaps others too. I found the look towards sky indicative of thanking God for helping him do this. The cheers or applauds didn't matter as much as the release of heaviness from within. I don't know how to put it in Eng but in Hindi 'atma shanti'. I think after shooting he breathed easy.
After accomplishing his feat he doesnt feel elated but is composed and introspective🤔. Abhi is clear of his feelings and tells Rajveer that " abhi toh jung shuru hui hai" as he knew that this battle was for only for his own self but now he has to fight with perception of others. He has broken the stereotype about him but he needs to carve a place for himself. He was more of envisioning the situations to follow and knew he will have to prove it with them. The realization that there are tougher times to come and he better be prepared. He is finally on the path of becoming a soldier in a complete sense, someone who is not afraid to shoot or has fear of war.
In the oath taking ceremony I found him feeling honored than happy. He was sincere and committed. He felt finally he was being held with respect and honor. (Here his face looked quite fair😉...😆) He was feeling revered and truly part of army now.
Lastly I also liked Naina's scene with Rajveer she seemed so much in love😳 but perhaps unaware of it or unable to say it. Huda seemed amused than angry at Abhi winning.😆. Alekh-Naina scene was funny & confirmation of her being in love with Rajveer. (Jojo khush ho jao😉)
Now all of you give your vishesh tipaani please😛
