Hi All,

Thanks for adding Skype to your profile. I have been using skype for over 1 year now and it helped me save a lot on my International calls that now making International Calls is cheaper then making STD (long distance national calls) using SkypeOut. 😆

Well it would really be nice to get all our friends on our Skype list so no more slow text chats on Messenger.

Just call them up and talk for hours and I can tell you that voice clarity is really good.

Add your SkypeID to your India Forums profile and start talking 😆

since you are a skype subscriber for long can you clear this doubt? isn't skype developed by kazaa? and kazaa is notorious:) for installing bundles of adwares. am i wrong? it's just that i have doubts about P2P telephony😛 and wanted to clear my doubt before downloading. is it easier to uninstall skype completely?

Hi Anju,

I understand your concern and I was also skeptical in the beginning. As far as I know Kazaa was an excellent software and really helped in P2P software growth. They had to resort to adwares later to continue with the project cost and further development.

Well Skype is a seperate entity and already a BIG Internet company and have got tonnes of V.C. funding and awards and have a better revenue model so they do not have to depend on adwares.

The software comes with the assurance that it contains no Malwares, SPywares or Adwares.
