Parmita replaces Tina

Parmita Katkar has replaced actor Hussain's wife Tina Darira as the host of the chat cum musical show 'Life Ban Jaaye' (Sony). Parmita, who is best remembered for her 'Kuan Maa Doob' jig in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Page 3' amongst several music videos, shares that she enjoys anchoring. She says, "I had been offered roles for serials but I thought I couldn't wear a sari and twitch my eyebrows. Then, I thought of taking up anchoring as I enjoy it . She adds, "Mandira Bedi was the first guest I shot with and I was nervous. But the shoot went off well and Mandira appreciated me."
