Ekta Kapoor has produced and co-produced numerous soap operas, television series and films. Her most famous television venture has been Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which started airing on STAR Plus in 2000. Since then, the show has continuously been among the top rated programs on Indian television. Today, Ekta Kapoor dominates Indian television, producing more than eight television soaps for STAR Plus, India's leading general entertainment channel. At the 6th Indian Telly Awards 2006, she bagged the Hall of Fame award for having contributed immensely to the Indian television industry. Most of her creations begin with the letter "K" due to her superstition that it brings her good luck and fantadtic reputation.

Dee the popularity of her soaps, Ekta has received criticism for her controversial and bold scenes. Her soaps have been accused of poor acting, using false eloborate sets and repetitive, inane plots. Especially controversial is her portrayal of characters, either shown as epitomes of truthfulness, obedience and grace or painted as loud, villanous vamps that constantly scheme against the protagonists. She has also produced five Bollywood films out of which Kyaa Kool Hai Hum starring her brother Tusshar has been the most successful.

Kahani Terrii Merrii very bengali, costumes etc didnt really lyk it but da begining song was very nyc n very devdas-ish

Kalash anku it wos a balaji serial, it was an ok serial xcept sad ending
Kammal dis serial had a gr8 start n den it went crazy i mena she didnt choose her hubby nstead left town v dissapointing

Kavita dis woz a very short drama n all on one topic/storyline n smriti lukd very weird coz she woz slimmer

Kkoi Dil Mein Hai was ok 4rm da few episodes i got 2 wotch on re-runs
Kohi Apna Sa dis serial started wiv a bang n den dat bang just bcame went down hill after tusshar death
Kutumb da re-runs really confused me but was a gud serial

I haven't watched alot of the shows... mainly Kkusum, Kkoi Dil Mein Hain, Kohi Apna Sa, and Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai.

Kkusum was alrite... i like ed it at time... at times I hated it

Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai- MADDNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS... LOVE FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER!!!!! It was mad crazy!! I lovvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it............. absoloutely mindblowing.
