Ekta First Look At Your Demands

Most of actor are leaving Balaji because they get to play old characters or they do not get paid enough. But Ekta also demand too much from her actors:

Leading Lady can not be married.

You have to accept whatever Ekta pays you

You have to play 50 years old when you are just 25 years old

You can not work with other production, sometime

You can not work with Sony anymore (since ekta have said goodbye to the channel

and the list goes on...

Some actor are playing same characters for years and are being paid same.

I think it is okay if demand a little money more

well Tulsi and Kasturi are married..

But I think, not allowed to work with other production houses is bit idiotic.

Prerna, Tulsi, Kasturi, Pia are married, so i dont think shes got problem with leading stars marrying. I think she doesnt want her stars to work with other production houses as then they will have to adjust their shooting according to those shows also, but if they are only doing ekta's shows, even if they are there in 2-3 shows at the same time, since all of them are ekta's, she can plan the actor's shooting in such a way to suit all her shows according to requirement, as that wont be possible with other production houses na.

It is Smriti AKA Tulsi's home production.

and because of those demands.. ekta is at this stage in her life. who says being a b**** doesnt pay well.

I dun think Ekta has any problem with leading lady married or unmarried..

About accepting what Ekta pays you, from what i heard Ekta pays her actors rather lavishly. check out the topic on IndiaForum abt pay per episode of certain ekta stars. So money may not be the biggest issue.

I don't think so ekta gives an official contract stating that u can't work with any other production house coz Smriti is working in Viruddh (sony).. and also Ronit roy had worked in Sarkar. But definitely i guess ekta wants to hv tht sense of loyalty from her actors. bt yeah, i heard she makes them sign at least a 3 yr contract with balaji and during tht period, u aren't allowed to work with any other production hse.

The main reason i feel that why certain actors are leaving balaji is because of the story line or the character sketch tht is going nowhere or they are required to play 50 yr old when they are half the age. Ekta should seriously work on her creative team writers and directors. She should not ignore this BIG problem that might lead to her downfall in the far future..

but u know something, i think Ekta's actors are far more popular than many others from other soaps. And she can really make their life by bringing them so much fame.

No Ekta does insist that her lead female stars r not married when the show starts..u see Smriti and Pia they got married after show started and for Shweta she really didn't look like a married woman and as far as i know b4 KZK went on air this thing was not leaked out and for Shubhangi..i think this was cuz at the end time the original girl who was to play the role left the show and Ekta cud not find any1.
