About accepting what Ekta pays you, from what i heard Ekta pays her actors rather lavishly. check out the topic on IndiaForum abt pay per episode of certain ekta stars. So money may not be the biggest issue.
I don't think so ekta gives an official contract stating that u can't work with any other production house coz Smriti is working in Viruddh (sony).. and also Ronit roy had worked in Sarkar. But definitely i guess ekta wants to hv tht sense of loyalty from her actors. bt yeah, i heard she makes them sign at least a 3 yr contract with balaji and during tht period, u aren't allowed to work with any other production hse.
The main reason i feel that why certain actors are leaving balaji is because of the story line or the character sketch tht is going nowhere or they are required to play 50 yr old when they are half the age. Ekta should seriously work on her creative team writers and directors. She should not ignore this BIG problem that might lead to her downfall in the far future..
but u know something, i think Ekta's actors are far more popular than many others from other soaps. And she can really make their life by bringing them so much fame.
You said it all 😊 yeh she pays very well i was working out in uk money some people only make what they make in a day in a whole year. Also yeh she does allow them to work for other shows guess different things need to be considered. She does expect loyalty considering balaji actors are most popular when they leave to another camp half way how do you think she feels? As for smitri , Ekta supported her starting producing rest after that i dont know whats true or not.
