National Prayer Day: Unite to Pray

 

Everyday when you sleep your comfortable bed under your comfy blanket........Remember
There is a little kid somewhere in the world who is going to put its little head on the cold hard floor to try and go to sleep.

When you throw tantrums and tell you parents that you just HAVE to have the new ipod........Remember
There is a small family somewhere in the world who doesn't have enough money to even know where their next meal is going to come from

Everytime you complain about how bad your life is.......Remember
There is millions and millions of people more unfortunate than you

Whenever I act ungrateful, my dad reminds me of the following quote,
"I felt bad because I had no shoes and then I saw a man with no feet"

So lets join together today friends to pray for everyone in the world who is facing problems. Lets pray for the thousands torn by war, millions who would go hungry tonight, zillions who are facing problems.

Lets send our prayers to everyone who is facing problems living in this world.
Lets wake up our conscience and do something for them.

How true it is, we never realize how lucky we are until we think of those who are not as fortunate as us. Funny how we never learn to value things until they're taken away from us....

Today I hope and pray that God showers his mercy and blessings on those who need it the most. Ameen!

I feel really sad thinking about those who are even unfortunate than us who atleast have a roof to cover our heads! We never know how lucky we really are indeed until we see someone homeless on the streets, or handicapped, mentally ill, etc...
