Armaan and Jassi are at restaurant table waiting for Smith. Armaan drinks a lot…because he does not have the nerve or the inclination to do what he has to do i.e to win Jassi romantically. Jassi looks tensed and is not happy with the way Armaan is gulping down the drinks. Armaan turns to her, and tells her that he wants to tell her something. He again imagines Jassi in the peach colored gown with her sparkling teeth (lol!) and looks like his tongue cannot move again…he freezes and does not say anything. He orders more drink. Jassi looks petrified. At that moment Raj joins them. Jassi is relieved to see him and asks him about Smith. Armaan looks and behaves drunk. He says Smith and starts laughing…Jassi looks confused. She tells Armaan that he shouldn't be drinking so much. Raj agrees with her, and gives a warning look to Armaan. But Armaan is too drunk to care. Raj starts getting nervous that Armaan might blurt out the truth that there is no Smith. Jassi tells Raj that Smith has not yet come, Raj tells her that Smith will come and that they should wait. She asks whether they can have the meeting on some other day, Raj says no…that it must be done today and he gives Armaan a dirty look and says that this meeting is very IMPORTANT. Raj tells Jassi that he has to go and before Jassi can say anything, he leaves.
Jassi looks worried, especially with Armaan behaving so weirdly. Jassi again pleads with him to stop drinking. Armaan looks at her…(he is out of control now). He asks whether she trust him, she says yes. He says he wants to dance with her…she is shocked and nervous (hahaha)…she mumbles something about not knowing how to dance.
At Gulmohor, Maithalee asks Pari about the accessories list and adds sarcastically not to become an accessory. Pari gives a irritated look and before she can retaliate, they both notice a tall goodlooking guy who has just entered the room. Both gals go ga ga ga over him. Pari to create an impression give some order to Maithalee. Maithalee looks at her angrily. The guy passes them without even glancing at them. Both girls look at him and drool…Pari follows him. Maithalee looks on with a devilish look in her eyes…(oh is she up to something now?)
Jassi's home…
Balwant is pacing the room, Jassi mom sitting on the 'jula' looks on and Nandu is standing behind Jassi's mom. Balwant picks up the clock, looks at the time…and thinking that it is not working, hits it hard. Jassi's mom asks him what he is he upto…he asks if the time is right…she tells him that the clock is working from their marriage till date…and it is working alright.
Nandu says 'foul' …he tells them they have started their own argument and forgotten the main topic, Jassi. He calls Gulmohor and asks for Jassi… They tell him that Jassi has left office with Armaan and Raj. Balwant is angry that Jassi has to work overtime again.
Armaan's cell phone rings. A very drunk Armaan takes the call. It is Mallika. Armaan calls her 'Thanedaar'. Mallika looks upset. Armaan covers the cell phone's mouthpiece and tells Jassi that it is Mallika on line. When Jassi comes to know that Armaan is talking to Mallika in the manner, she is shocked. Mallika hears talking to someone. She asks him coldly who was he with in such a drunken state. He tells her that he is a meeting. He tells her that after Jassi has started handling the fashion show, Mallika has no work. Mallika is pissed…Armaan disconnects the phone without letting Mallika respond to him. Jassi is shocked! She tells him that he should not have spoken to her in this manner and that small problem keep happening in a relation-ship where two people are in love. Armaan laughs and repeat the word love. . Armaan is on another trip altogether…He asks her whether love is when you keep hearing the person's laughter and voice in your ears, when you always see that person's face. Jassi is very nervous now and probably her heart is beating loudly…wondering what is happening…at that moment Armaan's phone rings again. Jassi is relieved because of the distraction.
She prompts him to take the call. Armaan takes the call. It is Nandu enquiring about Jassi whereabouts. Armaan tells Nandu that Jassi is busy…Balwant snatches the phone from Armaan…Meanwhile, when Jassi gets to know the call is from Nandu…she snatches the phone from Armaan. She looked very nervous, probably not wanting her folks to know her current situation.
Balwants tells her to come home right away. She tells him she cannot because the buyer, Smith, has not yet come. She tells him that she will come as soon as possible and hangs up before Balwant insist that she come immediately.
Balwant looks angry.
The gang is buttering Veeru to do their work. Veeru pretends in front of the handsome guy that he (Veeru) is some bigshot in the company. He makes the big-shot do an audition in front of him. For the audition, he tells the handsome guy to take Maithelee in his arms. The handsome guy is reluctant, but Maithelee leaves her loose and immediately hugs him a viselike grip.
Pari walks in and is shocked and disgusted with this scene. The handsome guy is trying to get free, but Maithalee is holding on tight!
Meanwhile in the restaurant, while Jassi was talking to her folks on the cell, Armaan gets up from the table, walks in the drunkard manner and announces loudly that he wants to say something to a girl. But before he could say much, he falls on the floor with a thud. Jassi and the restaurant staff rush to his aid. The staff picks him up and makes him sit on a chair.
Jassi is upset and nervous, she requests the restaurant manager to call a cab. Armaan's head is resting on Jassi shoulder and mumbling about Jassi not leaving him. Jassi is tensed and upset with what has happened…she thinks about what Armaan tells about 'what is love' in the restaurant, looks as if Armaan has touched a sore spot. Jassi comes back to reality. She does not want to take Armaan to his home in this state, as Armaan's dad would be very upset when he sees Armaan's state. She tells the cab driver to drive to a different destination. The cab stops in front of house, Jassi helps Armaan to inside the house. She looks around, and finds photo frames of Armaan and Mallika…She takes him in the bedroom and makes him lie on the bed…removes his shoes and is adjusting the pillow under his head. Then, they show Mallika entering the house…and when she enters the bedroom, she is shocked to see Jassi and Armaan in her bedroom at that time of the night! Jassi turns to find Mallika and is shocked. Mallika angrily asks her why is she shocked, as Mallika should be the one to be shocked. She askes her what was she (Jassi) doing in her bedroom. She (Mallika) then glances at Armaan and coldly asks to explain this situation. Jassi tells Mallika that they were at a meeting and Armaan drank a lot. Mallika asks her about the meeting. Jassi looks at her for a moment, then replies that she should direct all these questions to Armaan. She adds that she did not want to take Armaan in this state to his home, and hence brought him here thinking that she (Mallika) being his fiance will understand the situation. Saying this she leaves…Mallika is left dumbfounded.
Jassi enters her house and finds Balwant waiting for her. He wants to know what happened. Jassi is too upset to respond to his demanding questions. She tells him that she was in meeting. Balwant does not like the way Armaan is treating her, he tells her that Armaan is treating her like a piece of furniture. Jassi does not respond and walks off to her room. Balwant is upset to see Jassi in this state and tells his wife that he never seen such sadness in Jassi's eyes before and asks her emotionally whether she still wants Jassi to continue with her current job…Jassi's mom tells him that she does not feel the sadness is to do anything with Jassi's work…Balwant responds that it is not to with the work…but it is something related to the company (wow, he is smart)
Jassi is sitting on her bed. She writes in her diary about why Armaan was doing this to her. She is doing her best to maintain her distance. She thinks her father is right and it might be best for her to leave Gulmohor
