Reasons for Astha being upset

Agreed Astha is behaving like a spoilt brat and is very annoying, impulsive, rude etc in her actions.

I am trying to understand, what 'is' she upset about? and what can she do to free herself from this state?

There really doesn't seem to be just ONE issue she is upset about...

Hiding the truth about her REAL parents... I would rather have Simran than not have anyone at all since her mother died and dad took off

Her nani being alive..... I wouldn't want to be with someone who is all there..

Sid, she is just being too possesive about him...she can't force him to love her.... who know they might fall in love and might not she can't control that...

Not accepting Sia as her sister, well she really doesn't have that option...and beside she really doesn't have to worry about that anyways.. since she doesn't consider to Simrans daughter, but then she doesn't want Simran to have anyone....

And last of all she doesn't want to share her dad with anyone... he met both of his daughter around the same time...

There are plenty of things she seems to be upset about. Put it this way Aastha wants her own way, and if she does not get it she gets mad at everyone. She is a brat, first people were saying that we should understand where she is coming from as she just found out that Simran was not her real mother, but people seem to be ignoring the fact that Simran raised this girl for 18 years, never once treating her like she was someone else's daughter, did everything for her, and made her happy.

Now Aastha has the nerve to turn back on Simran, please she is just selfish and ungrateful!

I think it's easier than that..

Aastha is upset that she is no longer the center of the world, she's shattered that people have *other* priorities and *other* aspects to their lives that don't include her!
