Got to see some real Tamil classics with the introduction of a 24 hr Silver Screen Channel. Oh my god!!! The veterans of the 60s 70s and 80s looked soooo youung - in the 50s!! I could just die!!!
Imagine Asin and gang 2 decades from now! They would be hardly recognisable! Gee... I think old age is a disease to the stars......

you're 100% right hosanna. and esp nowadays where even the male stars have totally painted faces cos they're afraid of wrinkles, age is something to be afraid of.😆😆😆

The long awaited Sivaji movie released today here and I just saw it.

It contains all the ingredients for a typical Rajni movie and though he looks increasingly old (quite naturally!), still he carries off the role with lot of finesse.

Plenty of typical Shankar patent stuff like computer animations, rap songs etc and some Rajni type fighting mixed with comedy and also with the general concept of "good prevailing over evil".

All in all I am sure this will be a super Hit!

wow, i saw Sivaji today and it totally ROCKED!! 😃 😃

just one thing, like dasa said, you can tell his age more and more now..especially in his dancing for the first song - those joints looked quite rusty!

the songs were well done and the jokes were excellent

I also first day first show. It rocks badly. Rajni rocks badly. man neve saw him this cute and smart. and the comedy s amazing typical shankar's movie and the songs wow pictured amazingly. but the minus bit is shreya's clothes they looked really good on her but it kinda revealed a lot. There s thin line between glamour and vulgur and hre the lines really blured. Another bit is her lip synch which really pissed me. cas her lip synch didnt even go with the voice of kanika and unfortunaetly my fav kanika's voice sounds really dull.

She really need work on tht skil com on she acted quite a lot of movies by now in tamil and she shld be able to lip synch properly actreses lik tanishe wos lip synching was perfect even in hr first movie.

But her dancing was gr8 and if they reduced the skin shw a bit. It woudl have been gr8.

but still I love it a lot.Amazing movie.

i guess i'm the only one not interested in 'Sivaji'.😉 but shalini you're right about shreya's outfits. they were bordering on vulgar not glamourous.

what surprises me is that shreya didn't reveal so much in her bollywood films. like her latest film 'Awarapan' with emraan hashmi, she only wears chudithars in them. i don't know why shankar made shreya expose soo much. i think she's already very pretty without exposing.😊

shreya is hopeless at lip synching. even in 'Mazhai' or 'Thiruvillaiyadal', she is unable to lip synch. hopefully in 'Azhagiya Tamil Magal', she'll do a better job.

yeah, i have to agree with shalini and leena here, her lip synching is terrible in all her films. she seems to have lost even more weight after mazhai for this, which is just as well, as we see more of her stomach than her face in the film! 😆
