Episode No. 51 - 19th September.


Starts off with a confrontation between Anand, Piya and Ratna. On seeing Ratna, Piya controls her emotions, pastes a big smile on her face and inquires when they both came for the party. She then casually tells Anand that since he had mentioned that he may not be coming, she did not want to disappoint Bhaskar, so she came instead and if she had known they were coming, she would have not come probably.... Anand gets more and more upset as he hears this. Ratna stands watching this. Piya was in great element yesterday. Very politely, but very effectively, she tells Ratna that earlier they had problems in going out together in public, since Piya was a part of Anands life, but now that problem is not there and Anand must take Ratna everywhere. Anand does not know how to react. She then invites Ratna jovially for lunch and says they must catch up on old news and its been a while since they met and caught up on old news etc. Ratna agrees, not knowing how to react. And holding her head high, Piya leaves the party, leaving a completely nonpuzzled Anand and an incensed Ratna behind, for she had completely insulted Ratna, without losing her dignity.

Piya comes out of the party and then loses her composure.. she is shown fighting for calm valiantly, but breaks down in composure... and is walking on the streets aimlessly.

Ratna and Anand are standing in the party, when Bhaskar comes, sees Ratna and asks Anand where Piya went.. Anand replies that she just left.. and Bhaskar ignoring Ratna completely says what else could she have done in the circumstances and left the place. Ratna is hurt and upset and so is Anand and cant do anything about it.

AND THEN CAME THE KNIGHT IN SHINING Bike... A desolute Piya is walking around the streets, when Akash comes up behind her in a bike. Akash does a lil fooling around when he sees her upset contenance. Offers to drop off Piya, which she initially refuses, but eventually with some gentle bantering from Akash, she agrees. Piya gets onto Akash's bike and they zoom off, go for a cup of tea/ coffee in the middle of the night and eventually, Akash drops off Piya at Sara's house.   Akash is shown flirting with Piya, while Piya is not resisting it, yet not commiting to it.

And while Piya is shown with Akash enjoying herself, Anand and Ratna reach their home, Anand is not talking to anyone, Bhaskars words running in his mind, Ratna offered to cheer him up, but he was having none of it. Eventually Ratna goes to bed, and is upset, while Anand continued sitting in the living room.

Akash drops off Piya and stand outside her door generally talking, when Piya reminds him that just becos her moms not there to call her in, does not mean she can stand all night outside talking to Akash and says she needs to go in. Akash smiles gently and leaves, saying bye. Sara had come out to the balcony at this time, and sees this and sees Piya smiling after Akash leaves and is happy.

Anand goes to meet Karan the next day and slaps him and tells him that he has no right to talk to Piya the way he did. Anand yells at Karan that just becos he has became aware that Anand and Piya are not together and becos Ratna exisits in their lives, does not mean its time for Karan to make his move on Piya... And Karan tells him that he is the one to be hitting Anand, for the woman he (Karan ) loves is hurt by her husband and she is no longer with him.. and so Karan would be right if he hits Anand!!!

(sorry guys, but I think i dozed off at this point, for I cant remember what happened after this)

Episode No. 52 - 20th September

Last scene of previous episode which I missed yesterday

Ratna calls Anand at his house, but Piya is there and she picks up the call instead. Without waiting for Piya to say Hello, Ratna rushes headalong with her questions and asks whether Anand has decided the end of his story, whether Anand and Piya get back together or do Anand and Ratna get together. Piya had answered the call, tell her that Anand is there and asks Anand to take the call.



Anand is signing some document and when Piya tells him to take the call, he tells her that he is busy, he is talking to her and whoever it is, can wait, that his conversation with Piya was far more important and that call, whoever it is can wait. Piya has not closed the mouth piece and Ratna hears everything and is forlorn. Anand goes on and on and tells her that tell the person to call back. Piya quietly tells him that Ratna was on the phone. Anand is shocked (actually that's not the right expression… but cant think of another word for his dead pan face… it was more like he was caught in a wrong place.. wrong time.. and he had no expression for it)… He takes the call and Piya moves away!!! Ratna does not talk and puts the phone down.

Piya tells Anand that they need to now know that their lives go in different directions, that they have their own lives etc.. that they still love each other and care for each other, yet destiny has different paths to take them on. A very beautiful scene followed. I am not certain if I should attempt to put the emotions down on paper.. for it was meant to be savoured. If you guys want, I will post it later… but rather, you see it for urself. Basically, it was Piya telling Anand that despite their feelings for each other, they were now walking on different lines.. and they should get on with their lives.

Karan comes to Ratna and tells her all about what Anand did in his office, that Anand has lots of feelings for Piya etc. Ratna hears him out and then tells him that she does not want to hear more etc. Karan leaves from there.

Piya is looking for a blue scarf and sees Sara and asks her about it. Sara is not very happy with her looking for the scarf, as Piya had once got it for Anand. Piya tells her that despite the fact that she had originally got it for Anand but she still wants it. General chit chat between them with Mohan also joining in and pulling Saras legs.

Geeta comes to Akashs home, as he was supposed to meet her for lunch, yet he had cancelled it on the pretext of not feeling too well. Riya, Dadaji and Chellaraam continue with their funny track… Akash is in his room and in his hand is the blue scarf.. he is holding it and feeling it and generally smiling away at some pleasant memory. Geeta enters and inquires about him. She offers to make lunch etc. but Akash is uncomfortable and shies away. Geeta is puzzled and spots the blue scarf. She inquires about it in a very nice way.. and asks if Akash is avoiding her. Akash does not answer.

Anand comes home and starts yelling at Ratna, when she asks him about he going to Karans office and creating a scene. Anand is furious with her asking him these questions, that he is hiding things from her etc.. and Anand is shocked. Ratna goes on about Anand wanting to retain ties with Piya and that she is a lechaar, bebas abla nari… Ratna and Anand fight about Piya and Anand gets so incensed when she confronts him about hitting Karan etc that he blurts out that he will definitely hit anyone who goes near Piya. Anand then tells her even Ratna was alone and was not safe from Wasim and Anand had hit Wasim also. Ratna says that he loved her and so it was ok. Anand blurts out that he still loves Piya!!!!!!!

Episode No. 53 - 21st September

Ratna recollects Anands words about loving Piya etc. and gets upset.
Yash and Palomi speak in the coffee shop about Dolly spilling the beans about Yash dropping Palomi at her home and Palomi's confession to her parents that she loves Yash. Yash gets very uncomfortable hearing this, but simply agrees with Palomi. He even reluctantly agrees to meet Anand.
Geeta is worred for Akash, recollects all the events of before and a doubt comes in her mind whether Akash will marry her or no.
Dolly comes to Anands home and cross questions Theresa about whether Piya had come there and what did she say or what happened there. Theresa refuses to answer. Anand comes in and Dolly asks him about Piya. She says that when Piya was there, everything was wonderful and she was lucky for Anand, but with her gone, everything has disappated and the life has gone out of the house. Dolly asks Anand to get Piya back and Anand vows to get Piya back.
Piya goes to meet Geeta who is lost in her thoughts, on Piyas asking her, she says that she has a few thoughts of her own, its not the problem of any patient or anything like that, but her feeling that her destiny man does not love her, that he is going away from her, .. Piya tries to reassure her that such things happen, that people have their own problems and own lives and they should not make a decision based on this perception. She should give him time and space to make up his mind. But Geeta is convinced that he does not love her, that his change in behaviour is recent.. that she is not convinced about the change in behaviour. She revealed that he was supposed to meet her for lunch, but called off on the pretext of ill health, but when she went there, she found him perfectly fine. Piya assures her that all will be fine, and asks her to wait.
Dadaji wishes Akash for his assignment of acquiring the land, that he is superstitious about the whole thing, and so Akash should keep quiet about it till the whole thing is done.
Sara is adamant that Piya should be settled. Mohan says that being married is not being settled. Piyas dad intervenes and says that Piya needs time. That they have differences and they need to be sorted out. That she should get the reins of her life in her hands, get an employment, be independent and not just get married. Mohan agrees with him and agrees that Piya must be independent. Sara does not understand why people cant understand simple stuff.
Geeta meets with Akash's friends wife and they discuss Akash. Geetha asks her about any girl in Akashs life, and the friend tells her that there was a girl, whom Akash loved very much, but she did not love Akash, she only considered Akash as her best friend.    Geetha does not understand as how a person cannot distinguish between love and friendship.. she asks whats the thin line differentiating between the two.
Anand is with Ratna, who sits quiet on their bed. Anand apologises to her for all what happened. Ratna says she understands, that the times are bad for all of them, but she cant understand why Anand has to lie to her when he went to meet piya.. that such things hurt her more. That they have been husband and wife.. and they have shared more in all these years, that she has no acrimony for Piya, that she would like to keep her relations with Piya, by his behaviour, she gets a feeling that Anand loves Piya and not Ratna.. that all this mental stress is making her more ill and she was better off earlier. Anand hears her quietly and takes out a ring. Ratna is stumped and has no words and Anand quietly slips the ring on her finger. Ratna is moved to tears.   AND ANAND SMILED.. fortunately he forgot to put on his same dead pan expression for the romantic moment.
The episode ended on Ratnas face.

Akash and Piya are in a restaurant and both say that their respective friends are out of town. Anands mom sees the ring on his finger and questions him about it. Piya tells Anand on the phone that there was no reason for them to meet to talk and there is no topic to be discussed between them.

Episode No. 54 - 22nd September

Piya and Akash sitting in a restaurant discussing something, when Piya asks him about his friend.. and Akash says that she has gone out. Inquires about Piyas friend and she replies the same… this leads them to a discussion on Destiny!! Piya asks Akash as to hwy he came to Mumabi and why he left the air force etc… Akash says it was destiny which led him here. They met, became friends, and destiny ultimately led them on different paths, Piya came with to Mumbai and Akash became a fighter Pilot. And then destiny had other ideas for them, for destiny once again got Piya to Chandigarh, when Akash was there and eventually Akash himself has got himself a piece of land and has come to Mumbai. Piya chides him about being too superstitious about destiny, but Akash says that he does believe in it. Piya is surprised to see the change in Akash for he was always very keen on the Air force etc.

Dolly is filling Anands moms ear about Anand and Ratna and tells her that they are engaged, that the whole neighbourhood is talking about how Anand got rid of Piya and is now waiting for bringing Ratna into their house etc. In anger, she asks Dolly to leave, but is plagued with doubts herself.

Akaksh says he was tired of the old routine of doing air excersises, etc.. he wanted something different. He was tired of fighting over a small piece of land.. that he always wondered what the nation wanted of them, did the nation call for or ask for orphans, for widows, what was it that nation wanted of him. He says that he did not think of all this when he quit the air force, but just did it and came to Mumbai. And his coming to Mumbai was after all destiny…

Piya gets a call on her mobile, its from Ratna. Ratna wants to speak to her, but Piya refuses. Ratna says they shared a childhood and for that sake she should meet. Piya refuses initially, but eventually agrees to meet Ratna at the Leopold. Seeing Piyas disturbed face, Akash asks her if anything is disturbing her, but Piya says its ok and they leave from the restaurant.

Anand is fresh and ready, when he sees Ratna get dressed to go out. He asks her, but Ratna aksx him if it is necessary for her to tell him whatever she does or wherever she goes. Ratna says she is going for some important work and she will tell him once the work is over. She leaves then, but Anand is not happy.
Palomi and Yash are sitting in a restaurant, Yash is telling her to dress well, that she cannot keep dressing like how her brother tells her too. That people expect her to dress in a particular manner, that she should be presentable, that a new ad campaign is coming up, which he was doing and he wanted her to do it as well. He asks her to trust him…and Palomi is swayed.

Anand comes home, to find his mother sitting quietly. He asks her why the lights are off, and she replies that too much light is not good for their home, that she should get used to darkness in life. Anand asks her why she is talking such, but she replies saying that she is not talking such, it's the world and the people which are talking. That children make their aprentes proud, but some actions by the children make the parents eyes fall in the eyes of the society. Anand asks her what has he done to warrant this, and she confronts him with his engagement with Ratna. She asks him about the ring he was wearing and Anand asks her what to do.. that he does not know what to do.. that he is caught up in allt his and does not know what to do…he says he cannot leave Ratna and cannot live without Piya either. She advices him to keep his heart strong.. that he cant have both… that he either leaves Piya or Ratna, but the fact remains that he must take a decision. That once he takes the decision, he will be happy.. that this way, keeping a foot in a boat each, he will be unhappy and make the two women as well. Both are overwhelmed by the events and break down.

Ratna says that Anand and she are engaged and asks Piya to stay away from him. Piya is shocked and is upset and tells Ratna to keep Anand away from her. Ratna says they are to be married soon and says Piya must stay away. Piya says that she loved Anand a lot, that she gave him a lot in their marriage, that she wanted to… but the insecurities in their marriage came only when Ratna came into their marriage. Piya reflects on their married life and says that she gave Anand a lot of room and space.. everytime he spoke to someone or went out to meet someone, she never really bothered and always thought that Anand was with her and was actually talking to her etc… and then she says that her life came to a standstill at that point… and that's where Ratna's life begins.. from the point where Piya left off, Ratna begins her life.. so everytime Anand is talking to someone or going to meet someone, she will believe that he is with Piya, but she will have nothing to do with him anymore. Ratna says that, yes, it si true, I am the second best in his life always… Piya says that is unfortunate.. for anyone that is unfortunate, but that's life and she assures Ratna that irrespective of what comes in life ahead, whether she and Anand get engaged or married, Piya is no longer a part of Anands life and she wants nothing to do with him anymore. The episode ended with the sad forlorn face of Piya and the skeptical, cynical face of Ratna…

Started off with the last scene of last episode and Piya walking away.

Akash and Geetha speak and Akash tells her that his business, his work and Rhea are his prioiroty. Geetha assures him that she is not standing in the way of his work and his business. Geetha asks him if it is her behaviour towards Rhea which is bothering him. She asks him if he doubts her feelings for Rhea and tells him that if they do get married, even she was of the thought that they should not have their own child.


Akash tries to gently break it to her that they are not together, but Geetha pushes on and says she does not mind giving them the time or the space. But Akash tells her that he is not sure which direction his life is heading, that they had given each other no commitments and they were not engaged or anything. Geetha feels that despite all that, they always knew that they were headed towards marriage and she would wait for him. Akash says he does not want her to wait for him, for he does not know how long he will take, that he wants her to go on with her life. Geetha is unhappy.

Piya is back home and thinking of Ratna's words. She is upset and crying. Mohan comes behind her and Piya hides her tears. But Mohan sees thru it and tells her that despite everything she did, including putting on a mask for the world, her eyes tell their own story, their own destiny, which can never be hidden. Piya tells him that she will be fine. That she had different hopes of life, but life has dealt her a fresh set of cards altogether, but she will learn to live life again. Mohan assures her that he has always thought of her as a sister and she will always be welcome in their house and any problems in life, she is welcome to share her problems with him. Piya says that despite all the misgivings in her life, despite all the wrongs, this incident has given her a brother, for which she is grateful to him.

Akashs friends are talking about him and they discuss that Akash never told them that he will marry Geetha. But Gauri, the wife, is not happy and says that eventually, the idea was that they will get married. But Rajeev, the guy, tells that he knows Akash, if Akash did want to get married, he would not have waited for too long. They debate on the reasons for Akash's refusal to marry Geetha, including the fact that someone else could have come into his life.

Gauri and Geetha talk, and Geetha assures her that she understands his problems and wants to give him more time to settle himself.

Piya tells Mohan that Anand and Ratna are getting married, that she is not upset with the fact that Ratna told her that, that she knew it always, but just did not imagine it that's all. She assures Mohan that she will be fine. Piya is forlorn and says " Doosre se pheke gaye phathar se kahin jyada chot apne se pheke gaye phool pahunchathe hain…"

Anands mom comes to meet Piya at Saras home.

Dadaji is fighting with chellaram about the burnt parathas. Then some nok jhok follows between the two.    Akash arrives and both complain to him that they cant live with each other under the same roof. Akash is upset with the two of them and snaps at them, asks for some peace and goes away. Dadaji tells Chellaram to keep quiet and goes.

Piya tells Anands mom that she is completely broken. That Anand and ratna have got engaged and are to get married. Mom agrees with her and says that they are all very upset. Piya says that her mind is getting depressed with all this news. She is unable to share her burden with anyone. Mom asks her to come home to meet her, but Piya says that she did not want to meet Anand. That he is telling her he wants her back, yet goes ahead in his relationship with Ratna… mom advices her to turn Anand away if he ever comes back to her. Becos he does not know what he is doing… that by the time he realizes his folly and comes back, it would be too late here and he will return empty handed from Ratnas door too.. that he will pay for his misdeeds, for what he did to her and to them, that he will repent for his acts. Piya invites her for dinner out and Mom says that if Piya wants to make her, an old lady, her friend, she will definitely go with her. Mohan sees tehm and tells them to wait for Sara, but piya says they should go, like how people run at the name of Tsunami. Mohan asks if a MIL and DIL are going out for dinner, but Piya tells him it's a Mom and daughter who are going out.

Palomi comes home, drunk, escorted by Amrik. Anand sees her and gets angry. Angrily he questions her on where she had gone. Amrik says they had gone to a friends party. Anand goes close and asks her if she had consumed alchohol. Anand asks Amrik about the party and Amrik tells him that someone had mixed something in her drink. Anand yells at her for breaking the house rules and coming home late, when Palomi tells him that her faults can be rectified, but asks him if he can rectify his faults.

Episode No. 56 - 27th September 2005

Anand goes into Palomis room, where she is sitting, a lil upset, a lil sad. Anand sits down with her to talk. He tells her that the new developments, the new obstacles etc. which have come in his life have not come in pre planned nor is it to his liking etc. People walking on paths often lose their way, lose their balance, meet countless people and lose countless of them. He says that the path in which he walked, he knew the end, his family and Piya, but now, he does not know when he, while walking, lost track of Piya and found Ratna walking side by side.. that when he turned, he found Ratna walking by his shoulder. And on the other hand, he found Piya as well. When he came to four street, he had to choose a path, where he had to leave behind one companion and choose another. That he had no choice to do it, but ultimately, he was left with no choice. He did not want his family to suffer the consequences of his actions, that he was responsible for all their problems. He says he does not know whether what he is doing is right or not, but the hurt she has felt, he asks for her forgivenmess… Palomi bursts into tears and hugs Anand. Both are overwhelmed by his words.
Rhea is talking to her friend Rahul and she says she needs to find a way by which she can introduce her father to Angel Aunt ]Piya]. Rhea is convinced she is the right choice for her father. They decide to go to school, locate the travel agent and speak to them to get the identity of the Angel Aunt.
Piya comes with a cheerful disposition to meet Mom and Palomi. Piya is in good humour and generally discusses with them. Piya inquires with Palomi if she is studying for her exams or is she in love. Palomi tells her that she is not in love, but Piya tells her that even her family did not believe that she was capable of falling in love, they always believed that Sara is the one who will end up having a love marriage and were taken quite by surprise when she announced that she was in love. Palomi is dumb struck by Piya's words.
Geetha is looking at the album and sees a pic of her and Piya and is reminded of the incident when the pic was taken. She had got a new camera and had hoped to click the first shot with Akash, but Piya had come to meet her and Geetha clicks an automatic shot of her and Piya.
Anand calls Ratna and asks her what urgent work she had the previous day. Ratna evades his question and tells him that it could be some personal issue, like the fact that she could be preganant etc…. Anand is shocked and Ratna assures him that she was only giving an example and it could be true.. but she does not know it yet.   Ratna says she has to go for a party that night and says that some people including writers etc will be there and there will be discussions on her book etc. and insists on him going with her. Anand makes excuses but Ratna would have none of it.
Piya tells Anands mom and Palomi that they will all go out for dinner that night. Anand is sitting with his head on his hands when his Mom comes in and offers to make his breakfast.
Anand mom tells him they were going out for dinner, Aannd asks her where and she tells him they are going out with Piya. Anand wants to know if Piya inquired about him and his Mom said No. Anand is upset.
Geetha calls Piya, who is sounding absolutely upbeat in life. Geetha is curious to know the reason for Piyas happy countenance and disposition, but Piya says she has stopped thinking negative, therefore she automatically thinks positive. She inquires about Geethas love life, and she replies that it is ok. And she may soon need councelling and she will consult Piya, as she is now sounding like a psychologist. Piya agrees and offers to help her anytime. Geetha inquires about the blue scarf, but Piya apologises saying that she had it earlier, but now its lost and she has no idea how she lost it.
Piya, Anands mom and Palomi are at a restaurant for dinner. All are very happy. At that time, there is a television program on air, and the hostess introduces a young guest, Rhea, Akashs daughter. Akash is in a restaurant with Geetha talking when he too spots the televison show. He calls his friend to find out whats happening but she tells him that she is also surprised with what the children have done but assures him that she will take care of them.
Rhea announces on televison that her dad was very cheerful, happy and outgoing. But since the death of her mom, her dad has no friend, no companion and if anyone knows of a good person for her dad, they should contact them.
Akash is embarrassed and tells Geetha that he is not sure of where life is taking him, of whats to happen in future and whats all to come.

Preview:- Ratna insists on Anand going for a party with her. Dolly takes great pleasure in pointing out Anands photo in the newspaper, with Ratna. Sara brow beats Anand for shamelessly posing for newspapers with Ratna.

Episode No. 57 - 28th September 2005

Dolly sees the picture of Anand and Ratna in the morning daily and is gleeful, for it gives her some more ammunition to attack his family members. Her first target is Palomi. She first talks to her sweetly, but soon reveals her evil intentions. She says Anand is sucha popular person, his pictures are now coming in the local newspapers etc. Palomi is happy and goes to check the newspaper, but Dolly shows her the newspaper, where there is a pic of Anand and ratna. Palomis face falls when she sees the pic and becomes quiet. Dolly however continues with her waspish thoughts and says that now she will have to call Ratna Bhabhi...etc. Palomi gets upset, tells Dolly off and goes away. Dolly is happy to provoke a reaction from Palomi. Next taget is Amrik, who was watching all this. Dolly tries to get info out of him. She tells him to forget the past, that his mamaji and she, his mamiji, love him very much, that they are family and should not be having strained relations with each other. Amrik does not react to all this. Dolly eventually gets down to asking about whats happening in Anands home, but Amrik refuses to answer. Eventually, Palomi comes along and Amrik leaves with her.

Anand is sitting looking at the newspaper, when Ratna comes and congrats him for their first ever public appearance and their first public photograph. Anand is silent and then tells her that he did not enjoy the party and she should not expect him to continue going with her for such parties in future. Ratna asks him why, that he used to be a party loving person, that he enjoyed meeting people etc. Ratna then tells him that is he still worried about how Piya would react on the photo, how his family would react etc, because they all know that Anand and Ratna are living together and they plan to get married. Ratna adds that even Piya knows that Anand and Ratna plan to get married.   Anand is shocked to hear that Piya knows about it and wants to ask Ratna how Piya became aware of it. Ratna however, goes on and on about how they are now together, that the world needs to accept and be aware that they are now a couple.   Anand reminds Ratna that their first public appearance was at Bhaskars party, but Ratna reminds him that she went only for his sake, that they did not go together and that did not constitute their first public appearance. Anand reminds her that he did not like parties. Ratna tells him that earlier, whenever she called him on his mobile, he was always out at some party or the other, some dinner, some engagement and he loved being there, it was not as if he did not attend them voluntarily. Anand tells her that he was not that type of person, he was not a social person, that it was Piya who loved going out, meeting people, attending parties and he merely tagged alongwith her. Ratna seizes the oppurtunity and tells him that if he could do it for Piya he must do it for her also. That if he socialised earlier for Piya's sake, he can surely do it now again, for Ratnas sake. Anand is unable to answer or comment.

Piya is sitting and reading a newspaper. She too sees the picture. While coming to terms with it, Sara comes into the room, sees piya look at the picture and launches her attack on Anand again. She berates him for everything, including his earlier holier than thou attitude etc. Piya however is not able to keep quiet and let Sara go on and on about Anand. She tells Sara that she and Anand are no longer together, that she has moved on with her life, that Anand is no longer a part of her life, that he could do what he liked, went with who he liked and it cannot affect Piya. Sara tries to tell Piya that such actons of Anand causes more hurt, she says if Mohan ever tried doing such a thing, she would leave him the next moment. Piya quietly reminds her that she has left Anand, that she is no longer with him and that she will soon be back on her feet and independant. To a comment by Sara, she asks her if she wants Piya to leave their home, but Sara says no, that she wants Piya to be independnat and strong. Piya eventually gets upset with Sara's words and attitude and goes away!!

Gita is speaking with her friend (don't remember her name but the one who is Akash friend as well). Gita remarks that she wants to know abt the thin line that separates friend ship and love. Gita is also curious abt Akash's 1st love. Her friend says that Akash loved that girl a lot but she loved some one else. When quizzed abt who that girl is she remarks that at that time she was least interested abt Akash's love life. But now the situation has changed. Akash is more close to her than he is to Rajeev and sometimes he shares things with her that he does not do with Rajeev also. She also mentions that she thinks that the girl is also in Mumbai married and settled. She remarks that she can quiz Akash and find out abt his true feelings for Gita when Gita refuses and mentions that she wants to find out if what she thinks turns out to be true. (Something like she wants to know if what she thinks abt her relationship with Akash is correct or something like that).

Here the inquisitive neighbour of Piya shows the newspaper clipping of Ratna with Anand to Anand's mom and says that Anand is really famous with a gleeful look on her. Anand's mom is digusted. The neighbour also mentions that Anand and Ratna are soon to marry. Anand's mom chides the neighbour.

Karthik comes to visit Ratna. Ratna tries to avoid him but Karthik says that she herself called him to meet her. Ratna refutes it but Karthik does not budge and holds his ground. He continues saying that Ratna did call him up. Ratna says that hers, anand and Piya's life are personal and asks him not to interfere. He is like excuse me yours and Anand's life are personal and Ratna is shaken a bit. But she composes herself and asks him to leave. But Karthik says that does she want him to leave even when he says that Piya is back in Anand's life. She has started visiting his home regularly. She is still in touch with him. Ratna is shocked and episode ends on her face.

Preview: Karthik requests Ratna to keep Anand away from HIS piya. Amrik is discussing something with Palomi. Similarly Sara and Mohan also are speaking.

Episode No. 58 – 29th September 2005.

Karan goes to meet Ratna and tells her that Piya is now going regularly to meet Anand, goes to his house and at that time, they are sitting together in one room and plotting how to send Ratna back to Delhi, wont she be interested in hearing more about it.

Amrik and Palomi are talking and she says she goes to college in the morning and comes back at night. They fight about Palomi lying to her parents about Yash and her life outside the house and about Amriks friends etc. Palomi tells him that she loves Yash.

Karan tells Ratna that Anand and ratna love each other and cant live without each other. That they made a plan to meet up in some restaurant and then Anand goes away to meet Piya by lying to Ratna. He challenges Ratna to tell him the truth and she confesses that what Karan has told is correct, Anand did go away etc. Karan then tells her that Piya broke down before Anand and pleaded with Anand to take her back into his life, that she cannot live without him.. and Anand also agreed with her, that Ratna is not his life, that he is on the verge of leaving Ratna, that Piya was his life, his family and his future.... Karan assures her that he did not dream up the dialogues but he knows that this happened, because he had some goons following them and report their activities and even recorded their conversations on tape. Ratna asks him why he is doing all this, and Karan says he loves Piya to the extent of he being obsessed with her, he cannot allow her to go into Anands life or Akashs life. He pleads with Ratna to keep Anand in her life, becos without Piya his life is barren and asks her to keep Anand in her life.   He tells Ratna to cross verify with Anand and that he had no qualms if Ratna wanted to tell Anand that Karan has told her all this. Ratna is perturbed and Karan had a smirk on his face while he leaves the place.

Palomi and Amrik fight again about Yash and Palomis relationship with Yash. Palomi tells him that she deliberately has not discussed anything about Yash with him because he is jealous of them.

Piya comes home and calls out to Threasa, in the meantime, Threasa enters from the main door. She says Anand has asked her to prepare for a guest for dinner, but she does not know and what it is.

Yash and Palomi discuss and Palomi tells him that she views him as a friend, a good frined only and Yash is her love, her life, that he means the world to her, he is her future etc. Amrik tries to caution her about Yash, but Palomi does not listen to him, does not hear him at all and instead keeps defending Yash to Amrik. Amrik cautions her that Yash is not serious about her, that he will not marry her, that she should not ruin her life over him etc. Palomi entreats him not to take away those golden moments from her, that she is enjoying life and let her enjoy life….

Wasim rings the bell and Piya opens the door. Wasim introduces himself and says that Anand had called him. Piya offers tea/ coffee to him. Wasim is hesitant, but Piya forces him to have something. She introduces herself as Piya, Anands…………

Piya inquires about Wasim and he says he is a painter and that he lives in London. Piya says she is interested in art etc. Wasim then says he knows Anand through Ratna, that he knows Ratna from long etc. Wasim says he knows of Piya through Anand and that Anand often speaks of her, in praise of course. Piya asks him how much he knows about her and Anand. Wasim he knows that much of Piya, as much as Anand has told them and lots more from what Anand has not told him. Wasim goes on about what Anand spoke of Piya, but Piya cuts him short and tells him that its not correct that they speak about it. Eventually the conversation gets closed and Wasim leaves, saying he has to go meet Ratna and that eh will catch up with Anand later.

Ratna is frustrated and cries out in anguish and pain that her life is gone awry, that she had different hopes of life, yet at every step, life has let her down etc.

Episode No. 59 – 3rd October 2005.

Piya sits with Anands mom and tells her that Wasim had come to meet Anand. And Wasims relationwith Ratna. Piya tells her that she is going out of town for a few days for some urgent work, that she wants to get on with life, to move to a different phase in life, that the people in her life have moved on, that peoples habits have changed and so she too needs to move on from the blank pages of her life. That she wants to fill up the blank pages of her life. She announces that she is opening a school for children, she wants to be with children, she loved children and that's one regret she has that she never had them, that they were most precious to her and she never had them. Mom consoles her and says maybe better and bigger glory awaits her. She tells her to have solace. Piya says that she is going away after some time. Mom says she wants to be a partner in the school and Piya tells her she is the owner of the school that the school is in her name, that she is the principal and she, Piya is only a teacher. Mom is happy.



Anand and Ratna fight over the fact that Ratna told Piya that they were getting married. He is upset Ratna went ahead and told her instead of allowing him to deal with things in his way. He wanted to ease her gently into the situation, which Ratna rejects outright. Ratna tells him that Piya has gone ahead in life, that she has a boyfriend, that she loves Akash. Anand is enraged on hearing this. Ratna goes on unmindful, yells that if Anand can love Piya first and Ratna later, then even Piya can love him first and now love someone else. Anand is unable to accept this and yells that Piya does not love Akash, but Ratna continues on and taunts him that Piya is a woman as much as anyone else and that she has her needs. She shouts that a woman has mental and physical needs which need to be satisfied. Anand gets so enraged that he raises his hand to hit her. In frustration, he throws a plate on the floor. Ratna in anger retaliates and throws many glasses to the floor. Ratna then gets angry and yells that if he can take out his frustration by throwing things, so can she. She yells at him and Anand watches dumb struck. Ratna then in anger says that earlier when he came to see her, he came alone, now he carries Piya with him everywhere, that Piya comes between them all the time and Piya haunts her all the time. In anger, Ratna throws him out of the house. Anand is outside the door pleading with Ratna to open the door when a neighbour comes and tells Anand that such behaviour is not acceptable, as respectable families with children live there and they will not tolerate all this. Anand apologises.



Sara and Mohan fight again over Anand and Sara taunts him that Mohan stood by and allowed Anand to insult them when he sat with Ratna in the open restaurant. She says that Anand has no respect for Piya at all and if he had any, he wont put her in that position. She says that if Anand comes and says that he wants to meet his wife, she wont allow him, for he did not consider Piya his wife when she walked out in the middle of the night, when he left her for another woman, etc. Sara goes on taunting him and eventually Mohan snaps and says that he keeping quiet does not mean that he agrees with her etc.



Piya comes to Anands house, when Theresa inquires about piya and her health, Piya notices that Theresa looked as if she had just woken up. Theresa is unable to answer when Piya sights the closed drapes and starts pulling up Theresa when she spots the bottle of whiskey and soda and stubbed cigarette ends. Theresa informs Piya that Anand was drinking alone the whole night and just went to sleep. Piya goes to his room, sees Anand sleeping and comes away. Piya tells Theresa that she is going to his Moms home and when he wakes up, Theresa must call her. Theresa tells her that there are some unpaid bills, Piya is shocked and gives her the money to pay off all the bills, asks her about dry cleaning etc.. she even pays her salary etc. and leaves.



Yash gifts Palomi with an expensive gift, which Palomi is hesitant to accept.



Piya is with anand and tells him that things cannot go on like this. That this is no way to win life or for that matter, nor live life. She reminds him that he used to be so positive in his outlook for life, and that she was so proud of it, but now she cant bear to see him like this. She says she cares for him a lot and she reminds him that her constant coming back to his house, looking after him etc. is only becos she cares for him, that they still have a relation outside love.



Anand interrupts her and says "Kitne baar sunaoge" in a very weary tone.... that she has said it often. He says he does not care what name she gives to their relation, that he still loves her a lot and he loves her the most in this world…… this is the only scene where i actually liked him till now. the expression in his face as he said the dialouge was priceless. will try to get the pictures tomorrow, all going well.



Preview: Anand gets Ratnas letter saying she is going away, very far, away from all, saying she will not be reachable and he must not look for her.

Epsiode 60 - 4th October 2005

Anand repeats that he loves Piya the most. Piya says that she respects him and whatever he does today will affect the relation which they once lived. Piya says she does not like it if Sara criticizes Anand, when she hears from others. Anand says he does not care. But piya says she cares, she still cares. Anand asks her to reconsider, to think, that he wont be able to see her with anyone. Piya says that Anand is talking about Akash, that he is a old friend and is only that till now. He has never crossed those limits and she reminds him that she cannot forever not talk to any man at all. Piya reminds him that she has never asked him why he went with Ratna, that why he lived with her earlier, why he is living with her now. She asks him if he ever considered how much this will trouble her, how much ti troubles his parents. He never thought of all that. She reminds him that drinks etc. wont end his frustrations. She pleads with him to look after himself. She says if he does not do anything, she wont have any choice but to tell Ratna everything. She reminds him that he is the one who gave Ratna so much power, so much rope to come till here, and if she did clutch that rope and come till here, its not her fault. Anand is broken and asks Piya what to do. Piya advices him to wake up and pull himself together and go back to being what he was. Anand smiles sadly and asks :without u. Piya replies, with Ratna.



Ratna is reminded of Anands words and Karans words. She then has an imaginery conversation with herself. The mirror image shows her how she was left behind by life etc. That she neither had Wasim nor Anand. The mirror tells her to take her life in her control, lest she goes mad within the four corners of her house. She vows that she wont allow Anand to ruin her life and will repair the situation before Anand ruined it completely. She cries that she wont let that happen ever.



Palomi is sitting on her bed when Amrik comes to scare her. Idle chit chat follows with an advertisement for dish tv. Amrik asks her for money to buy dish tv.



Anand comes to the house, finds the door open. Then sees the condition of the house with his trademark expression on his face. Sees the broken picture frame and picks it up. Looks around and keeps looking at the broken frame. When he goes to put it on the side table, he finds a letter from Ratna.



Anand, I am going, where I don't know, but very far from here. I am not going to dadajis house. I am going very far, I need peace of mind. I have been noticing that I am not getting my peace of mind. Anand you don't need to fear naything anymore. You can be at peace with Piya. I am giving you the keys, you can either give it piya or to the landlord. What you want to do with the flat is your decision. Take care.



Anand reads this and goes beserk. Starts driving around the roads looking for Ratna (wonder why, she said she is going far.. now far cannot be in the same city) He makes calls and keeps driving. Anand then calls Wasim to inquire about Ratna. Wasim says Ratna is not with him. Anand says that she is not picking her phone. Wasim also says that he is also trying her since last night, but not getting through. Wasim inquires if they had a fight, and Anand confirms that they had a fight the previous night. Wasim offers to come to Mumbai, and despite Anands refusal, decides to go to Mumbai.



Piyas parents discuss the fact that Piya wants to move out of Saras house, her mom laments that she had repeatedly told Sara to keep mum, but she never listened. They decide to go to mUmbai for a while and live with them, till the matter is sorted out.



Anand goes to the police to lodge a complaint. Police ask him if she was his wife. Anand has no answer. He says Yes after a pause. He then hands over a photograph of Ratna to the police. Police assure him to find her as quickly as possible.



Wasim arrives at Anands home. Wasim asks if he heard anything from Ratna. Wasim says this was her one drawback, that she lost her head in anger always. Wasim sees that Anand was troubled and asks him for the reason. Wasim says that she is a woman, she had her own insecurities, and Anand was doing nothing to remove them. Aannd says that he needed time and he chides Wasim for interfering with their personal life. Wasim entreats Anand to take a decision quickly and Anand says that eventually he would have to take a decision. Wasim tries to console him.



Preview: Dolly comes to tell Mummyji that Piyas parents wont spare Anand so easily. Mom asks her what news has she got this time, is it Ratna running away or is it Piyas parents arriving there, and whats the connection. Piya tells her parents that she would not want them to be involved in her personal life. Anand gets a call from the Police about Ratna.
